The eighth and final digest video is here.

The video contains a selection of areas that augment the main action in FINAL FANTASY XIII-2. This includes a range of side quests that the player can engage in, where completion will yield different rewards. Players will also find unique puzzle sections that Serah and Noel must solve during the course of their main quest to find Lightning. Serah and Noel will also traverse the new location “Serendipity,” a casino-style area with a variety of games to play including slot machines and the return of FINAL FANTASY fan favorite, Chocobo Racing.

Also included in the video is footage of Captain Cryptic’s “Confounding Quiz,” where the player must eavesdrop on the citizens of a certain city for clues as to his whereabouts, and crack his confusing conundrums to win a special reward.

I don't think there was much new to take out of that trailer lol. Since the sidequests were present in the demo anyway all I really took was -- there's puzzles, quizzes and casinos

They did a great job showcasing literally every distinct feature in the game. So much so that people who will play the game and have watched every single trailer and almost all screenshots will see very little surprises in terms of gameplay.

But I will say these features are still quite enjoyable. Even if people hate the story (I am predicting majority will), this game has great gameplay IMO.


P.S. If I were one the developers, I would have also included the victory fanfare in more obvious segments, such as when solving puzzles and winning chocobo races. Because it may just be me, but getting that ultimate jackpot is seemingly impossible. I have wasted away about 2000+ coins in a separate save file, and I only have gotten the smaller jackpot once).
