It annoyed me greatly. It was pretty obvious Snow was designed as the 'big man'. He's very tall and well built. Serah is small, thin, innocent looking and almost child-like. The clear contrast makes me uneasy, as it feels incredibly patriarchal/sexist. The 'big manly man' almost owning the...
I love the game as it is, but I'd perhaps tweek dialogue here and there, and get a different actor completely for Tidus. Rikku would display subtle gay tendencies :) just as a fan-service to me.
Exploration was somewhat lacking (the game was linear, but seemed more so than it was at the same...
September 2010 ?! If so, that's A LOT earlier than I expected. Don't trust Sqeenix to release anything below a bazillion years after the last installmet these days :P
March 2011 for the PS3 version, huh? So it looks like this will be out before VersusXIII?
lol. I know a whole lot of guys like that too. I was just saying. I was aiming that more at people in general, not you. I'm sick of clicking on fun "Find out what you and your partners sleeping patterns mean" quizzes- only for the questions to be "Tick here if the man sleeps facing the women...
I hated, HATED, the shameless obvious selling out there by Square, Serenity. It showed a serious lack of intelligence. Being strong and more confident has nothing to do with how (little) you dress. For some people their confidence will affect this, of course. They made her and Rikku 'slutty', as...
There was something I disliked with all characters- but nothing compares to Snows pretentious, posing, arrogant Hero routines. -_-
I like Vanille. She's possible my favorite 'That Character' from the series. (Rikku, Selphie etc.) Although I do genuinely like Rikku.
The worst thing about it is that it's a prequel to X. It has nothing really, bar setting, to do with the original game. It tried to be, but wasn't.
When you forget this game is a sequel to X, its actually very fun, enjoyable and good in its own right. I just happen to think its an awful...
Her voice didn't bother me really. I was curious about why she sounded so odd (even in normal conversation- her voice was just..strange.) But it never annoyed me. The orgasm sounds I found hilarious and (oddly) helped me remember that she is way older than she looks (she looks about 12...
The idea to only control 1 character at a time isn't so bad in itself, but I felt it made the other characters feel pointless. However, I thought the battle system was good once you go used to it.
Agreed.
Again, agreed. The only reason I tinkered with weapons was for the Treasure Hunter...
...yeah I did that. o.O I'm up to over 300 hours O_O All Ultimate weapons per person. Took AGES and was NOT worth it. This game doesn't feel anything like other FF titles. After playing and beating ti inside out twice over... I bored with it. I'm done. I have never felt this way about an FF...
Everyone's almost the same. The females in this game were truly the greats. Very disappointing male characters- mainly Snow. What an awful, awful character.

X2
Havn't played this in a long time- can't remember lol.
Oh I forgot challenge. Pretty awesome.
@ Rincewind, FFXIII was indeed a disappointment. However, the battle themes are great. It's a pity they are the only think I can pick out.
...I really like this theory. Well thought out, very possible.
I don't get the Crystal thing though.. it makes sense they turn to crystal through completing their focus... but I can't explain how they come out of this state, and hoe Fang and Vanille come into that.
