I did it to learn Guard or Scan at lvl 9, depending on which choice I made. I just did the Wakka blitzball thing, and the trio a few times for extra potions.
I was wondering. How many people used the Reaction Commands to kill the 1000 Heartless vs just hacking and slashing through them. Personally, I love games like Dyansty Warriors, where you just charge into a hoard of enemies and rape them, so I shunned Reaction Commands for this battle.
I never had any problems with Demyx, apart from a couple close calls with those water forms. I think they made him like that to make him harder, since his personality really didn't do much to make you take him seriously, or the fact he fights with a musical instrument.
BTW, my PS2 is 6 years...
They are both hard, but KH1 version is harder, IMO. The absence of Reaction Commands makes blocking attacks harder, because they require less timing that a Guard, IMO. KH1 was harder, but I also liked it better because of that, I think he better lived up to his position. The only thing hard...
Valor Form- Basically anywhere I feel like using it
Wisdom Form- World That Never Was, the first couple areas are teeming with Shadows.
Master Form- Halloween Town, outside Santa's place, those drop lots of orbs
Final Form-Twilight Town, library in the mansion. 10 Nobodies, then I hit the save...
Xaldin was definitely my hardest battle. He is fast and powerful, especially if you don't spend a lot of time training other than what you fight as you progress. This remains the only battle I ever needed the King for.
I went from Ozmone Plains at lower levels (good exp and good loot from common drops) to Tchita Uplands, which is a lower level version of Cerobi, IMO. Now, at high 60s, I train in Cerobi Steppe, or that hellhole Necrohol when I need something in there. I did gain a fair bit in the Pharos...
As I said before, I was not chaining to the extent you are insinuating. The only chains were those you get by killing small groups before moving on to the closest monster.
Compared to some of the other top-of-class weapons, the Zodiac Spear is easy to get. The only problem is the chest thing. I don't think anyone was supposed to get it in the first place, if they made getting it the way they did. It's not worth starting over a game you are probably fairly far...
I sell equipment if it isn't better than what my characters currently have. If it is, I switch it out and sell the worse equipment. I only keep accessories if I know I would use it in the near future, otherwise that goes as well.
Just something I noticed recently while training in Ozmone (it's a new game and thats the best place IMO for early game). Between the three files on my card, I have over 100 hours of gameplay. Right about the time I tipped that mark, my loot drops became dramatically better. I haven't...
