Although a couple of the characters from IV were fairly memorable. I didn't like the story line very much and the overall game play just didn't add anything to my experience...

I really enjoyed Final XII. My favorite story line was X, but I loved the updated mechanics in XII's battle system (gambits and 3d game play rocked) and the license board. I'd give anything to see a similar license board in XIII, but with a more specific path for each character like X's sphere...

I tend to agree with the new battle system. I think that the random encounters were a nice way to transition from the field to battle in the past, but the need for these encounters has now passed us. As we move into these next generation systems, I feel that it's time we are offered next...

Again, the same needs/wants are always repeated when battle systems are discussed. The ability to switch out characters, being able to integrate all characters into the party despite their skillset, a more realistic flow to the battle, etc... I sincerely hope our battle systems continue to...

I disagree. Granted, I LOVED Final I and played through it 3 straight times when I was on disability last year, but I was able to beat it with 3 Monks and a Red Mage. I also did it with 2 knights and 2 red mages. Monks make the game much easier, because they have REALLY low equipping costs and...
