Though he's the main villain, I think Kefka is the main character in this game. He's the character that seem to get most attention in terms of growth. While everyone in main party seemed to be characterized through side-quests, Kefka was given this through the main plot.
Has a very underrated story in my opinion and I think the tragedy in this game was more upsetting to me than FFVII. If you want to play a game that has a better story then some of today's RPG's, then this is definitely worth getting.
Logically trance makes sense in the game, though it's a double-edged sword because of how it is explained, trance usually shows up at inconvenient times. Like after a boss battle, where it could have helped.
This is idea is actually kind of broken, because why would Zidane get a surge of...
I would have to say the way limit breaks were gained was annoying. Very easy of course. I didn't feel the way they were learned didn't fit how the story is in the game. Very minor complaint, though this game has little to no problems.
I do hate Advent Children. SW has a decent plot and the visuals are very good. The movie isn't a masterpiece, but it's really underrated because of the name it has slapped on the cover.
It has in my opinion the best battle system, it's also fun as hell. X-2 is one huge mini-game. While the story is a bit weak, I guarantee that the gameplay will warrant enough for a purchase.
Well you can only do the tests up to whatever is the equivalent of Squalls level. So usually after the SeeD test, you're usually 13? (Add this on with the fact, that a lot people try not level up to high in this game until the end).
The lowest I've ever got was down to like 23 seconds. Since I...
Wakka was frequently used in my party. I love status ailments, I love to prolong the battles sometimes.
Wakka reminds me slightly of Mustudio from Tactics, though Mustudio's abilities cuts of the enemies physical options.
I put hate it, since I disliked most of what VIII offered in terms of gameplay. Though I did enjoy the game story wise and a great amount of sidequests.
Ikaruga is disgustingly hard and most shoot 'em ups for the SNES were pretty difficult. Some that come to mind are Gradius III and Super R-Type. The former has no mercy, if you play on easy, you will still lose. Badly I might add.
Actually FFX-2 had gameplay (battle system in particular) that was really fun. XI is my least favorite, do to that I dislike that kind of RPG and that a FF had to be wasted online.
No, the full name is Tactics Ogre (it's not a FF game) and I didn't mean to bring it up for a discussion if that's what tone I feel I'm getting from your post.
That's because the last boss is a status raping freak. If you are not prepared with the right abilities, you will lose. Though I do believe RPG's for the most part are hard when you put in less effort, despite that they do have a level of difficulty. Though because RPG's are usually long, your...
I recently saw an anime, Tenjho Tenge. I thought it was horribly paced. The anime just does the backstory arc. There are like 26 episodes and only about 6 of them contain the actual characters featured in the opening. Why does it take 20 episodes to explain the past and the show ends in bad...
I forgot to add that I got my GED pretty early in high school, so I never really experienced that sort of essay. Most of what of typed were from how my english classes were in middle school.
