Do you save Shadow or let him die?

I saved him. I didn't do it because I thought he was good in battle (although his Throw can do quite a bit of damage sometimes), but I did it because he was such a cool character. I probably wouldn't have realized that I even could save him if I hadn't read it in the walkthrough I was using...

    The Lunar Summons

I don't even remember being able to do that...so obviously I never used them.

FF Music What is that Square Enix song?

That's actually the first overworld music of FF5, called "Four Hearts." It's based on the main theme of the game, "Ahead on Our Way." The other music before that is also from FF5. And that video is awesome. XD

    FFV - Worth Getting?

Although FFV is my least favorite out of all the FF games I've played so far, I still recommend getting it. The job system is interesting to work with, although I think having specific jobs assigned to each person (like in IV or VI) makes for a stronger storyline. The soundtrack is really...

    FFIV - Worth Getting?

Heck yes. FFIV is a must-play, IMO. It was the first FF game I ever played, and I loved it right away. If I had played a different game first (FFV, for example), I'm not sure that I would have ever really gotten into the FF series as much as I have. I HIGHLY recommend this game.

    Phoenix Tower

It can revive all of them? I didn't know that...I thought it would only revive one. It probably is worth it, then.

    Phoenix Tower

I did the Phoenix Tower. Going up wasn't horrible, but I was ticked when I found out that I'd have to go down the whole thing again. I didn't use the Phoenix summon much afterwards, either. It was helpful, but not worth 99 MP.

    Character Development

I think the most developed character in the games that I've played is Cecil from FFIV. His transformation from being a Dark Knight who's confused about his king's orders at the beginning of the game to becoming a confident Paladin at the ending has be one of the most dramatic changes in FF...

    Instruments?

I love playing piano. I took lessons for three years, but then my teacher moved to another city, and I never really bothered to find a new one until a month or two ago. Now I'm back into lessons, and I also try to learn a little FF music (or any other music that I really like) on the side. I...

    Congratulations, Aerith Gainsborough and Rydia!

Congrats, you two. I haven't been around long enough to get to know either of you very well, but from what I've seen from you on the forums, you seem very well qualified for the job. I can tell that you'll do it well.

Level up area before fighting the final boss

Up in the north/northeast area of the world are some monsters that will give you a pretty nice amount of EXP (they're mostly Frost Bulls, Spizzners, and Istory Lythos). They're not hard to take down, especially if your characters know Rapid Fire. They also give you more ABP than most monsters in...

    The Opera Scene

I thought the same thing when I first heard about the opera scene. I started to wonder how exactly an opera could fit into an FF game. But a few days ago I finally got to see it for myself, and I thought it was great. I have to say, it's probably the most unique scene you'll ever see in a...

    Favorite Part

My favorite part has to be Cecil's transformation into a Paladin. It's really the turning point of the whole game. But I have to say, that was a pretty tough choice...FFIV had quite a few great scenes in it (like Rydia stepping in to rescue the party), and the ending was really good, too. FIV...

Is there such thing as proper Grammar any more?

John walked towards the door. He reached for the handle and swung the door open. He saw his best friend Peter. "Hey, Pete." "Hey, John." "How was India, Pete?" asked John. "It was fine, I guess..." Peter sighed. "Where did you go?" said John, sitting down. "It was okay; the weather was bad...

    Change Their Abilities

I'd change Locke's ability in FFVI. He has such a cool personality, and I think he deserves a better ability than just having Steal. When you compare it to some of the really kickass abilites in the game (like Cyan's Bushido or Sabin's Blitz), it just really doesn't help that much in battle...

    What's Your Name, Dude?

I don't care that much either way. I suppose I like the freedom of having the option to change the characters' names, but I never do. Probably just because I'm so new to the series. If I ever replay any of the games sometime in the future, I'll probably make use of the ability to change...

Did anyone get all the top weapons in this game?

Now that I've thought about this, I do vaguely remember these battles. I'm pretty sure that I had to fight some sort of white dragon to get Edge's ultimate weapon...it was a pain in the butt, but I did eventually defeat it.

Neo Shinryu and Omega Mark II

I found Omega Mk II to be shockingly easy. He's really not any harder to defeat than the original Omega if you know the right strategy. And speaking of that strategy, here it is: Make sure you have one character (I used two to be safe) equipped with two weapons that can be used with Spellblade...

Did anyone get all the top weapons in this game?

Hmm...I think I got all of them, but my memory of that part of the game is pretty fuzzy. Can you be more specific?

Motion to limit access to sbox...

I think it's a good idea. The only downside for me is that I wouldn't be able to use it again until I get 50 posts, but hey, that won't take long.
