Yeah i reckon black mages are meant to be made of some form of shadow like energy bound by a center of gravity and a soul (in vivis case) which would certainly be an explanation into how they are so proficient in Black Magic.

I didnt really like Quina as a character but i had "it" in my "a-Team for the whole game, Blue magic FTW! I dont see everyones problems with quina as a useful character in battle some blue magic spells where invaluable....Irritating out of battle but useful nonetheless. Amarant i found useless.

I think XII is one of the best, it may have its flaws but its great nevertheless. I Finnaly Bought a copy of X a couple of days ago, got up to the first blitzball match got bored and started my second file on twelve, which I reckon is definatley a lot more enjoyable second time round.

OK How about this; If believing the Rinoa = Ultemicia theory makes the game more enjoyable to you, believe the theory, if it dosent, dont. For me, It made the story more enjoyable as i like plots to have more layers than an onion. :P

I found Ultima pretty easy even without white masks. Shes also cool to use as there be a lot of holy weak enemies in Ivalice. .... Zodiark different story. :blink:

IX, I love the whole terra / pandemonium / angel of death thing, twas greeeat. Also i loved the nostalgic references to the previous games i.e. incorperating the 4 fiends etc VIII is pretty good too.
