I've actually just decided to give it a go myself, I'm giving it a try on the Ashita server with a few friends as I doubt I'll get more then a hour a week to actually play it.. in it for the long game.. it does look so dated but still very interested to see what I can get out of it

I usually spend about a hour messing around with themes/effects until I find something that I like and build up on it from there.. usually no more then 2 hours.. though with ones intended to also be of a high enough quality to be desktop backgrounds I may spend 3 hours and tweak minor details...

I'd say your going to be almost completely lost if you don't play the first game first.. though Birth By Sleep is a prequel and works as a good entry into the franchise.. pick up the 1.5HD collection if you can.. hopefully it'll make its way onto other consoles eventually

I took a look at Exist Archive as I herd it was a spiritual sucessor to the Valkyrie Profile series.. however it's almost an exact copy but with art that's just less interesting.. a hybrid between the main to VP games but made on a much lower budget unfortunately.

Even now I look at that list and can't remember some of the GF's even being in the game.. Leviathan for example, don't remembed him at all.. though there are some very cool summons in the game. Quezacoatl will have to be my pick though.. as the first and likely most used.. for that small amount...

I think SE might have built a possibly good model for episode release. certainly seems to have helped with the latest Hitman.. however the sheer size of FF7 could leave us with long delays between episodes.. if its a full price retail and equivalent size for game length I would expect 6 maybe...
