Okay, I have my latest one: The Dreadful Battle (or Battle with the Four Fiends) from FF IV. Probably my favorite video game song of all time, I used to put it on a tape recorder on loop when I was a kid.
Thank you for checking it out, iSmiff. I actually do have a few from those games, let me see...
Good old Hymn of the Fayth. Definitely my favorite song from FF X. People of the North Pole is pretty close, though.
FF VI is a great game. The dichotomy between the first and second halves of the game is amazing and unparalleled, Kefka is a supremely memorable villain, the music is god-tier and incredible, and it's just a fun, relatively quick romp with a huge amount of depth and hidden or optional content...

This is definitely one of my all-time favorites. The Dreadful Battle is amazing and Hyadain's version is just immortal.
Definitely agree with this. Jenova was at once the most interesting and terrifying concept in FF VII. The influence is pretty clear, but what they did with the concept is really neat. I remember being specifically creeped out by the Jenova escape sequence in the Shinra headquarters and just...
My personal fave is Find Your Way, the Tomb of the Unknown King theme. But Man With the Machine Gun, Succession of Witches, and Force Your Way are right up there.
I don't think the game deserves the hate at all. It's unique in the series, so it's certainly going to be polarizing, but of course coming on the heels of VII it's never been given a fair shake and was dismissed from the start. The junction system is extremely interesting (not perfect, but...
I've got a ton of them, so I figured I would start out with one of my favorite ones, ha ha. This one's Land of Dwarves, the underworld theme from FF IV. I still think it's one of Nobuo's best. Anyway, yeah, I plan on posting a few more, especially as I go along with new ones, so please check...
I'm having trouble narrowing it down to a single moment, though...probably when Cyan totally beasts that guy at Doma and his whole army runs off. That was awesome.
I only really play the NES version (played Dawn of Souls once but vastly prefer the original), and I've played through it a lot of times with a lot of different parties, but my favorite was four black mages. I've done a solo White Wizard, as well, which was fun (and probably reduced my life...
He's certainly not my favorite villain, not even in the series (I don't find him to be that interesting from a personal standpoint), but he has style and he has one of the more memorable victory sequences in series history, what with ruining half the world and all. He's definitely memorable.
It's one of my favorite games of all time. FF I is my favorite, but this one is second or third to Breath of Fire II. The music is absolutely incredible and it's one of my favorite stories ever, with the most awesome, colorful villains, amazing characters, and SPOONY BARDS.
Congrats, it was a fun game. Definitely a long final dungeon, but I enjoyed it. I actually liked the setup of that section, I played through it three times in a row when I first got the game, which is something I almost never do. It was just so much fun to have all my beloved FF IV characters...
Awesome stuff! I never thought I would hear Final Fantasy covers on this instrument, really cool to experience. I especially love the battle theme cover, great theme and the keys give it such a neat vibe. Subscribed!
This is really nice sounding stuff. I love the idea, it definitely makes sense to do FF IX music in this style. I had a little difficultly recognizing some of the themes, probably because I only played IX fairly recently and am not as familiar with the soundtrack, but I absolutely loved the...
