Well it can certainly be useful to have a freelancer early if you are happy with your jobs and abilities. Especially since they have freedom to wear most weapons and armor.
I do highly recommend things like Rapid Fire and Dualcast. Another few good abilities include Dual-Wield, Spellblade...
On top of it having a very specific location on the map grid, I do also believe that it has a slightly lower encounter rate as well. So Mighty Guard is definitely worth it but such a hassle to get. I typically don't bother getting it
Agreed with above. The regular monsters inside the Lunar Subterrain(sp?) gave me more issues than just about any boss in the entire game. They were all pretty easy so long as you had some semblance of a plan going in to the fight. I suppose Zeromus' spells were a bit annoying to heal but nothing...
I always assumed that, like the light crystals from above, the dark crystals also were typically held in towns or settlements. That little Sylph town is really out of the way for almost no apparent reason, but I definitely agree the Land of Summons seems like a wonderful place to hide one...
Personally Idk how to feel about the FF characters involvement. I mean, I loved seeing all the characters and having them be part of the story. I can't think of a series that would have fit in as well as FF did.. nothing else has the depth or comes to mind
I really enjoyed the Sphere Grid of FFX, it was really innovative to me that the stat boosts didn't come from level ups, but from nodes on a giant grid.
But my absolute favorite comes from FFV. The sheer amount of different classes and abilities to me was both fun and tedious. Having to...
It's annoying that it's so relatable. I always had trouble with the stupid Cactuar when I was younger, couldn't really figure things out on what to do with them.
A lot of the Sealed Temple is strategizing cause remember, levels only really grant more HP and MP. Its mostly your abilities and how many classes you have access to.
Honestly to me it's a fun part of the game. Harder bosses, more good weapons, access to 4 more classes(assuming you never got...
The place that I've found to be the most helpful is the basement of Castle Bal. Down there is an enemy called Objet D'Art. They come in groups of 2 and 5, and give 4 and 8 ABP respectively.
If you managed to get Level 5 Death from World 1, you can easily one shot them and farm for ABP quickly...
I really loved playing and beating FFV. There was many things I liked about it, primarily the Job system and the chance for dozens of different team makeups to play through the game.
In addition, I found the extra Dungeon in the Advance version, along with the extra bosses and Jobs to be a...
Hey I figured I should introduce myself. I'm Ignavusd, and i figured I should find a place to post my random thoughts about a series I've been in love with for years.
Favorite game would most likely be FFV but my favorite character is Kain from FFIV. And I've played several of the games...
