I love everything about ff12 except the story and characters. That is really sad because I feel as if the game could have toppled others in the series had it been more interesting. The battle system, traversing, world map, towns, everything was great except the above mentioned.

Agreed that dagger is a crappy name. I much prefer Garnet. Finding out her true name was just another awesome part of ff9 in which they allowed you to discover many things on your own. Thats why I enjoyed ff9 so much.
