I still do, though not to the same extent as I used to. I need a new FF game to evoke the same attachment I felt playing FF 6,7,8,9,10.

The first FF game I played was, weirdly enough, FF X-2. I played it for 1 hour, didn't know where the hell the story was going then picked up X. After that I went back and played 5,7,8,9. Fell in love with the series and it eventually became one of my favorite franchises. Currently playing...

Oh, that sounds interesting. Might check it out! I enjoy history, and so this is all very interesting. Especially when it comes to alternate history.

I think it's mainly due to Square-Enix themselves not knowing where they should be going with the series. With FF 13 they essentially tried to target a broader audience by making the game more accessible. While some of the things they added are commendable, that's not how the series should be...

What I want to know is the amount of the game's assets that has been rewritten. They mentioned that they are now working on an engine that is a hybrid between their next-gen Luminous engine and their older engine used in early development of Versus. But how much of that engine has been taken...

From what I remember, they mentioned they have been upgrading the engine so that it includes some of the new luminous engine assets. I'm really not an MMO guy, though I do enjoy them from time to time. But since this is FF, and this time around I have a better rig, I will probably pick this one up! I don't know how long will I last till I stop tho. Usually 2 weeks is around where I'm like "ok I'm done here". haha! :P

I think it was FFX. If I remember correctly I replayed it 5 times.

Yep hopefully they don't move over and just release it on PS3.

I don't really want it going next-gen, it's just going to make the already horribly lengthy process of developing the game even more unbearable. It could also ruin the game's quality because its going to be a half-meshed product.

Outside of gaming I'm probably doing the following: Football (soccer), Tech news, Some Anime/Manga, and tons of TV shows. Some of my favorite TV Shows are Arrested Development, Fawlty Towers, Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Suits. So I watch a wide diversity of stuff :)
