This is old but urmm.. I LOVED CRISIS CORE. And.. Genesis :) New characters add to the story. If they weren't there, it wouldn't be very realistic. There are always others in your past, right?

Sephiroth is meant to be the perfect 'monster' because he Jenova cell was also used to create him. But apparently Angeal was the perfect monster.. I can't remember exactly but it had something to do with their bodies rejecting the Jenova cells. In the FFVII Crisis Core sources it states that...
