Nice to meet you, AerithG. You didn't happen to see a movie known as "Jacob's Ladder", the movie that inspired a team to create the Silent Hill series?
Only the recent Final Fantasy games have decent graphics (X, XII, XIII) but my personal favorites are I-VI.
If you have a DS, maybe purchasing final fantasy III or IV would be a good start. III is flexible, while IV has deeper main characters and story. The same can be said when comparing V...
"...but not enough to put our lives on the line for it." Isn't an opinion. (s)he's stating that there aren't people who are willing to put their lives at risk over others living in foreign countries. I wanted to clarify that this isn't true.
Exactly. Individuals join for their own agendas...
Diablos was the most powerful esper in the VI remake, so I was happy to see him in VIII.
Bahaumut's always been my favorite, of course.
And Eden is the ultimate GM.
Those have my votes!
Also, Gilgamesh is awesome.
Zell can be much more overpowering than Squall if you abuse/utilize his limit break.
That aside, I think they made him so strong because he's supposed to be your party leader. Then again, everyone's very similar in VII and VIII being that anyone can more or less do just about anything.
Well, it all goes down to "what sort of character do you enjoy playing as?"
Personally, I first and foremost prefer playing as a character with character (what a concept) that I can at least somewhat relate to or would like to be friends with. (basically a likeable character, but it's all in...
Sorry about that little conflict I happened to have started. :ken:
I might join the Not Interested club when I play VII. I'm still preoccupied perfecting V and VI. These games keep getting better and better! I'm looking forward to playing with the materia system.
1. Yes. The missions can be played at different difficulties, the easiest being labeled "solo."
2. They can, if they revealed enough in the main questline. There's not much lore, but again quests can be played solo including the main quest. (It's high level missions, but it's very interesting)...
It probably means that she'll temporarily forget a majority of/high level summons during the trial when she's a child. When you finish trial she'll relearn what was restricted from you.
X is one of the better newer Final Fantasy games available and it's the latest one that keeps the standard turn base tradition. (XI is an MMO, XII is in real time, XIII plays itself)
Is it worth it? When predicting whether or not something is worth something you're comparing what you're...
I suppose the perfect 100% ending is the most canonical, considering it's the FINAL ending that the player strives to achieve. Yes, I would say the same thing even if the ending turned out for the worse for Yuna and Tidus.
Considering how that's the end of the bonus story of X, I don't see why...
Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced, Wonderful game. I adored recruiting new people, learning abilities from equipment, and mastering different jobs. There are so many missions and 3/4 of the time I was simply running around looking for random engagements and timing the days so I'll benefit from the...
He was scourged by flames, slashed by monsters, and stabbed in the heart by the sorceress....but the only wound that can never be cured is a single gunblade cut to the face. The cruel irony. :P
It's interesting how they're creating an HD version for X, because I thought the graphics for that game are fine the way they are. VII and VIII would look drastically different, that's for sure.
Also, is it just the same thing but in HD, or are they greatly improving the graphics to look like...
