I would definitely recommend FFVII. It is the more Fantasy-like of the two and was more fun.

Definitely. I liked Lightning and the other charaters a lot. I also heard there would be cities to explore and NPCs to interact with. Since those were the things I missed most in XIII, I can't wait to play this game:cheers:

I liked how the relationships between the characters developed. They were not just a random bunch of people, where everyone is only connected to the main character if that, but a group of people who all had specific relationships with each other, started to like and also protect each other...

I liked Zidane and Garnet's romance a lot. It did not overwhelm the plot as much as the romance in FFVIII, but felt more developed somehow.

I liked him as an addition to the already off-beat cast, and I also liked his theme music. Never used him, though.

I agree. Got killed a lot more in normal battles than in other FFs.

Treno (FFIX)- I loved the atmosphere and the inhabitants are interesting. Balamb Garden (FFVIII)- Your own home to fly around in, grab summons from a desk and fight against other flying objects: loved it Archadia (XII)-loved that we got to meet the citizens of the enemy empire as well Midgar...

Aeris's death didn't shock me, because I was convinced they would bring her back to life, because I had seen some promo picture of her with an airship and thought that part had not come yet. A lot of the stuff in Final Fantasy Tactics is shocking. Celes trying to kill herself.

Ivalice or FFIX's world. Apart from saving the world, Zidane and co. also seemed to have loads of fun.

Krile and Relm didn't strike me as bratty. Out of all of them, I thought Eiko was the most annoying.
