I always found Emerald to be more challenging, because he deals more damage, and the battle has a time limit on it. It also has Aire tam Storm which limits the selection of abilities you can carry to the fight.
Second is Ruby, because of its high defenses.
The DS is full of great games, and all the Final Fantasies released on it were very good upgraded. The PSP has a better hardware, but that's it. What I do care about is that I want the same team of the III and IV"s DS working on a possible remake of VI. The gameplay is what matters the most and...
I thought I had moved on (after paying through it four times), but now i got my hands on the internacional release, so I'll play it again after beating Dragon Quest VIII, and possibly Shin Megami tensei Nocturne.
I'm re-re-re-replaying this and as aways changing opinions.
Right now my favorite song is Unforgettable Sorrow.
By the way, I the boss battle theme is really dull. :mandi:
I just started playing the internacional release. Casting spells is faster here, and abolishing the damage limit did help spells as a means of direct damage. I'm yet to see this, though, as I can't reach all this damage yet.
Are you sure about graphic updates? The game doesn't run as smoothly as it did on the SNES. And the background in some parts, such as the background of Vector in the opening sequence, is missing.
Well I am happy they are gone. If they would at least make them totally optional I wouldn't bother so much. But they needed to be really optional, i.e they can't have so good prizes that you would be forced to play anyway to tackle on the superbosses.
I don't know how yu could vote for this waste of time as positive.
Minigames are basically distractions from the gameplay mode that one buys the main game to experience. They're bad until proven otherwise. And this is one of the most time consuming and boring ones I've played. And this game is...
You have enough level. Now I hope you have abilities and equipment (the moogle merchant on the ship can help with those). So when fight Ghis, cast Shell on everyone before the fight begins. Kill all the swordsmen he comes with. Then try to blind and Slow Ghis. Then kill him by stabbity. Always...
Congratulations! You've just been welcomed with a Barret quote. Now, for the game, I'll let you decide. I've played them all, and here are the differences:
SNES: the most aesthetically pleasing version. It has the best music quality (doesn't win by much against the PSX version though), has the...
According to the story, Ellone's parents were killed by Adel. They wouldn't say that if Raine was her mother. And being siblings would not hinder a relationship, although the game never once hints at anything between Ell and Squee, outside of having a sibling relationship in the orphanage.
I particularly dislike the way the story was written. It seems they couldn't roll with Lucretia simply not liking Vincent and actually liking Hojo, and possibly being just as much of a mad scientist as he was. Instead we get a totally unnatural story of she knowing Vincent's father's death and...
