need to know if anyone can tell mr why ff10 locks up after father tells about how to play blitz ball. When I put in code it locks up

I have 2 ps2 @ 2 FF10 disks. When it get to the scene where I have to kick the Blitz ball like his father it locks up and can't go any further in game. Any suggestions. dsr106

have played ff10 before no problem. same disk. have new disk and still locks up when I put in the last x command. Any other suggestions. yes it's where his father comes and does the shot nobody else can do than Tidus is ready to try. I punch x until it gets to the rt side of screen ane...

on s.s. winno when i get to blitzball and go through pad dirctions it freezes up. have two playstations and games and does it on both. need help
