I've watched Season 2 of The OC in about a week. Jesus, I'm so addicted to this and will probably buy the third season box-set secondhand when I next go into town. Yes, it's my first time watching it
On a character level, Vaan isn't a bad kid. I mean, his situation initially is relatable due to him being a 'street rat' yearning to be something bigger than he is. I almost always had him as the leader of the party because he is a good fighter and I like his character design. His voice acting...
I agree with this. I liked Treasure Planet and would love to see it in a KH game; having Jim as a party member and then joining forces to fight against Silver would be awesome.
I actually loved this game alongside FFI. I've completed it on both PS1 and GBA and I think the experience system is quite cool and unique although I agree with Sidereelpassing that if you don't use your spells enough, you're screwed in the latter parts of the game. This means that, in order to...
I prefer Vincent Valentine because I think his Limit Breaks are pretty badass. I had to use a walkthrough guide to help me get him on my second playthrough though; I had no idea about the safe code and secret boss and everything.
I agree with this. I think the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII was a total failure overall and produced some extremely average products. Advent Children was probably the best thing the compilation had to offer, but this was due to the incredible CGI and fight choreography, not the god-awful...
I definitely agree with the Sorceress Adel fight...I depended way too much on my GFs in that game and was only in my late 20s in character levels which didn't help at all. I never got past that section in the game. I also agree with the large encounter rate; I swear that Final Fantasy II has the...
I think that since Final Fantasy VII, the moody and serious prettyboy/fighter stereotype has been used way too much in videogames and anime. This kind of makes Cloud a less interesting character in terms of how he is written. I suppose that, despite this, he is quite well written for the...
I admit that it took me a while to get into FFXII when I first played it but when I did, I thought it was one of the best games I had played at the time (this was around when it came out). The exploration is brilliant with incredibly detailed locations - the cities are really brought to life in...
I've started playing through Final Fantasy VII since I've had more time after finishing university. It's been so long since I first played the game and it's as brilliant as I remember it. Currently saved at Junon,
I agree, I use the very same party. Admittedly, I don't choose the characters strategically; I choose them 'cause I like their personalities. Rinoa especially so, because if you have her in your party after you defeat Garden Master NORG, you get some pretty sweet moments between Squall and her.
Dissidia 2 should not only include the main hero, but perhaps the main hero's love interest. For example, for Cloud, it would be Tifa/Aerith, Bartz - Lenna, Vaan - Penelo etc. Also, there should be dozens more unlockable characters.
In truth, I never found any of FFXII an immediate challenge; I always levelled up my characters when entering a new region and this helped me a lot in Pharos. The Subterra section of the Pharos is utter hell however, even for high-levelled characters.
I must disagree with this, I felt that FFXII offered some of the most delightful tunes in ages. I liked the soothing Cerobi Steppe theme, the Rabanastre one and the Balfonheim song which helped create the busy city atmosphere. But, if I were to be honest, I enjoyed all of 'em!
I personally thought that the Final Fantasy VII Compilation was somewhat disappointing. We got a CGI movie with a lacking story (good fight scenes though!), a PSP hack n' slash game, a mobile game that could only be played if you had enough money to afford a decent mobile phone, a rip-off of the...
When I first played Final Fantasy VII, I must have been about six or seven years old at least. I was too young to fully grasp the storyline in depth, but I did enjoy the fact that the game was about a group of rebels blowing up nuclear reactors under the noses of the Shinra (it was only until I...
Final Fantasy II was a one-hit wonder
Final Fantasy II was a decent game, I thought. It was just a shame I couldn't say the same for it's tedious Souls of Rebirth mini-quest. I quite enjoyed the story of the Rebels fighting the Empire and I was somewhat disheartened by the character deaths that...
Hi fellas,
I'm LittleMog and I, like yourselves, enjoy playing the Final Fantasy series of role-playing games. My personal favourites are Final Fantasy VII (I know what you must be thinking! "How original!") and Final Fantasy XII, which I think was a brilliant reinterpretation for the series. I...
