I played it with a strategy guide and also before I have even heard of FFX. There wasn't much freedom in the stragtegy guide, they made it pretty clear where you were supposed to go. So yeah I enjoyed it... even though I didn't know what was going on half the time.
I would not recommend II or III. They are both frustrating and have a low entertainment value. I liked IV and VI. They both have a good story with a variety of characters.
Not to go all bible on ya but.... it mentions more than just Adam and Eve. It also says that men who lie with men with not inherit god's kingdom.
Also some blind guys got blinded in the bible because the were acting all gay so... is it a sin... that's for you to decide...
FFII was just awkward. It was like walking in on your grandparents while they're doing it.
So what I'm trying to say is that the game play was very wierd and all over weak. They really didn't make it clear what your objective was either. The story line wasn't horrible, but it was amazing...
I never finished FFVI. Not because I didn't like the game, but because I didn't have enough time to finish it. It's a very good game and could definitely use a graphic touch-up. I think by the time they get around to making a remake of FFVI they will have a new generation of hand held systems...
I totally agree with you.
I though his voice was great. I was so villainous. Some of the lines he said were sick (in a good way :P) Over all I though he was a good villain... perhaps even better than Sephiroth.
It's a great game and all but some things are good left alone. I don't want it to end up like FFVII with all those dumb spin-offs.
like the person said above, I didn't enjoy it that much I just beat it to say, "yeah I beat FFVIII, what of it?"
It wasn't as great for me b/c I played it 10 years later... so it wasn't as good to me as it should have been. And I also played it on an emulator which took away from the game in my opinion.
But none the less it was very good, just a tiny over-rated.
I know what you're going through. This happens to me everytime I play any of SE classic games... not so much on ps2. On chrono trigger i got about 5 hours into the game and i hadn't saved since 3 hours ago.
Man was I mad :P But I managed my way back, quickly too. I just skipped all the fights...
Don't be hat'in on KH. I like them all equally. Great story, game play, and characters. I wouldn't complain...
although Atlantica did suck pretty bad though...
I kinda (like 4 hours into it) started FFVI. I figured the last boss was Kefka b/c and a real bee-otch... but ya never know who the last boss might be.
For example: FFIX boss died in the middle of the game... garnets mom, who would have guessed it.
But anyways good luck with that. :)
I have to agree with Obama. It coming out near Christmas... just not logical.
lol, if you mean Christmas '09 then yeah you might be a little more accurate.
I loved Phon Coast. Fighting on the beach was such a nostalgic idea. Or at least better than a cave... o.O
And on phon coast the enemy weren't that bad, except for that big butt dinosaur look'in thing.
No final fantasy game (that I know of) has ever taken a stab at the story quite like that. It was very brave of SE, but in the end... they SUCCEED! I thought the scene made the game go from okay... to AWESOME!
Most people who haven't beat final fantasy X say it sucks. But to tell you the truth...
I forget, it's an amazing game none the less. As long as you had fun don't worry about the time on it. I think I beat mine in 35-40 hours. Yeah... I'm an FFX whore. :P
I thought that the characters had lots of back story. Remember when they were at the orphanage and Squall was a kid, along with the other members.
Last time I checked the main villian didn't show up until the last disk in FFIX either??? Garland.
Anyways... I loved the game. I thought the...
