I doubt you get anything for finishing this but obviously I can't leave it at 98, do you need to go through every path to get it to 100? Here are the actually cloisters I have:
Beginnings: 1 - 5
Encounters: 5 - 14
Affection: 6 - 15
Repose "1" : 9 - 11
Agony: 15 - 28 (including the two times...
1. new levels: wtf, is that really all they could come up with? they aren't terrible, but there are soooo many better options
2. new characters: meh, not really what I expected for the story, but the choices are fine I guess
3. new music: A+ of course, but I don't really understand why they...
Ok, obviously this game has ridiculous potential. One of the things that I think could be improved a lot are the playable stages. It's cool to have the final dungeons I guess, but it would be nice to have places that actually represent the games. At the very least they could be unlockable...
Kind of a random idea for a thread. I've replayed all 3 of these games recently after ~10 years, and some of the events I've remembered included the ones that led up to the end of each disc. Obviously Square tried to put climatic things in those spots on purpose. Anyway, here's a refresher in...

But even with that, the huge materia "missions" start when Cloud is not with the party. They listen to Shinra's plans to destroy Meteor and defeat Sephiroth...
This is one of the things I was too lazy to try back in the day. What happens if your party is Cloud, Aeris, and Cait Sith as you go through Temple of the Ancients? Do you have to fight the dragon and DOOM WALL with Cloud and Aeris alone or do you get another character somehow?
Kind of a subjective term when used in this sense, but I'm curious to see which FFs you all consider "dark" with the rest obviously being "light" (the opposite of dark!)
Without thinking about it much I think FF6, 7, and 8 are dark, with 4, 9, 10, and 12 being quite the opposite.
Keep in mind...
Re-playing through this game right now and I just got all of the characters in the WoR. Anyway, just wondering has anyone beaten it with just Celes, Edgar, and Setzer? Or do you need more characters than that? I'm sure the ending would suck, but I'm be shocked if it hasn't been done before.
