Correction on a couple of things - Firion isn't extremely underated. I don't hate him. He's pretty good actually. He counters mages well with shield bash. I only dislike him because he's annoying against bartz my main and I don't really know how to use him properly.

Nice guide. Block and combo is real useful for riposte and damage. Spam shield bash on bartz (don't attack him). Weaponsmaster is so annoying. Swordslash can be used to counter snooze and lose though since it's so quick and if you are stuck in the air against a spammer.

I've found that you can easily PP and AP train against chaos if you put him to lv 1. If you put diamond ring and beckoning cat and stuff like that, it becomes even better. I've got 108 AP in 1 battle against chaos.

If you are real good, you have totally no need for the chocobo cologne as you can level up so much quicker by other means. The only character that I've done well with is WoL and I need to be more organised against zidane and Chaos. Any tips to help?

Back to jecht, I never understood how to time the BRV into HP attacks. Can someone tell me because if you can do that with every hit, jecht will kill very quickly.

I prefferd to battle gabranths since their AI is so dumb. Or you can battle the omega friend card as it has barbaricia. That saves you from having to use magic pots and krakens. Gabranth is also sometimes equipped with excalibur so that will allow a OHKO. That saves you from using chocobo down.
