I always knew he was a guy and didn't really ever question it. I don't know, I guess he was maybe a little feminine but I never really thought much of it.
I thought that he was good comic relief in Advent Children. I didn't get the same exact impression in Final Fantasy VII, but he still caught my attention. I liked how he "switched" sides and became almost an ally to Cloud and company.
Blitzball is definitely fun and addicting to play. I really enjoy kicking the crap out of some of the teams, because Tidus is just so overpowered. It is a cool way to take a break from the usual gameplay and have objectives non-related to the main storyline.
Whatever it is, it obviously doesn't taste too good. When you use his banishing blade overdrive, he spits it out immediately after ingesting it. It is definitely not your usual jug of juice :-P.
Although it is quite irritating if you realized that you forgot to do something before the time warp, it really is your own fault. I suggest you save the game on two files, one right before you go into time compression and one after. That way, if you did forget something, just go back on the...
I think Square-Enix made this game to try and branch out the Final Fantasy audience to more female players. I think it actually did accomplish its goal, as I have seen an increase in interest from people you would never expect to play Final Fantasy. I don't have any legitimate source for this...

I definitely enjoyed the sphere grid, as it gave the player so many more options to customize each character. You could have Auron casting Flare or Yuna swinging away for 1000s of damage. It was really amusing and a great alternative from the traditional level up system.
