Here's a question for you - I see more discussions on Red Alert 2 than on Generals. Yet Generals is newer. Doesn't Generals have more stuff and what naught?
Why is Red Alert 2 better?
Okay VoN, I'd like you to define using "skill" on an RPG.
When I think of skill and a game off the top of my head, I think of either a fighting game, a shooting game or something similar, but if you have an RPG, how would you imply skill into it?
Honestly if I ran into a code problem like that I'd just go on the net and find one if the store was giving me a hassle.
I wouldn't want to continue arguing with the stores because I shop at the same stores over and over, thus they eventually know my face (I'm easy to notice / remember really)...
A game can only be fun if a person likes the game.
One person can say it's fun because they enjoyed playing it. Another person could have just bought it to put in their collection. Another could have bought it, played it, and said it was a horrible game.
The only way you'd find out if it's...
I take it this is non-TV stuff...then
Ys Book II ^_^ x 5 (Anything Ys related I'll like :))
TV stuff
BeyBlade :)
Digimon :)
Dragonball :)
Dragonball Z
Megaman NT Warrior ^_^ x 5
Monster Rancher :)
Pokemon :) (First and second seasons really only...)
Sailor Moon :)
To me 99% of the reality tv shows are useless. Same thing with the talk shows and court tv shows.
Reality TV shows - Wow guy and girl racing for $1000000000000000000 and what do we get outta it?
Court TV - see how pathetic people need attention.
Talk shows - Read above.
Game shows - people win...
There's so many things I want to do right now like:
Write a novel (I know exactly what I want to write about...it's just the patience and commitment.
Move to Japan and start my own game company or work for either Hudson Soft or Nihon Falcom.
Go to school and take Asian studies, game design, and...
I really don't understand why people:
Waste their time on doing stuff like this.
Like this stuff.
Can get somehow attracted to this. (Look at some of the hentai movies for instance)
Manage to put this online and expect people to seriously like it.
Like come on.
Well I don't think you can say it "isn't worth buying" - I just think they trying a different approach, or as it was previously mentioned, portable gaming is popular over there as well.
