Hope is much better for your party than sazh as far as the long run is concerned, try using vanille too, she works very well with fang(leader) and light. Mostly due to her higher suvivablity.
The poll makes it clear that I'm the minority but I will say quite bluntly: No.
I'm of the opinion that square should keep their eyes on future, rather than toiling away on trivial things of the past. A remake of VII is unnecessary when the future installments all have the potential to be...
Lets see is can remember my play order correctly, IX, tactics, X, IV, I, VI, XIII.
I've played other entries but have yet to beat them in their entirety.
It seems to me that Final Fantasy tends to take a dramatic stance on story and presents the characters and world as form of art. Something to walk away from and remember, that you can revisit again and again. Where as the WRPG tends to be less about storytelling and art as it is about experience...
I want to be excited for this game, really I do, but it looks to be nothing less than a milking, and I dont appreciate corporations trying to milk my money from me.
Kingdom Hearts BBS by far is the best of the series, combining nigh on perfect combat, with a darker story, a more fleshed out cast, and a due of villains that truly inspire intimidation in the minds of the player. The original holds a place in my heart but BBS stands alone in terms of quality...
I was 11, my first foray into the series being IX and Tactics respectively.
Though my time with them is foggy I remember Tactics in particular being very easy to beat, though I have no recollection of what exactly I did to make it so. I only remember Ramza having blade grab and...
Depends less on the game and more on the tv too me. If I had a nice HD screen I gladly go with that but as it stands SD is just ugly to look at, especially when looking at it on an SD screen.
Noctis and Lightning are far and away the best stylized characters in the series so far. Despite my personal disliking of him cloud has nice hair too.
For females though the older entries are my favorite. Rinoa and Terra in particular.
Final fantasy VI is a great game to go back a replay and you cant really go wrong with the psx era. Maybe give 13 another try, I found on the second play through that everything was much smoother, and I found my self appreciating a game that gets much hate for very petty things.
Has to be zidane for me. Hard to put down, open and friendly. Fairly sociable, quick to defend others regardless of their closeness to me, and open minded. Maybe a little bit of the perv to :perv:
I'd say final fantasy 2, quite easily the worst leveling system and a plot that was grasping at straws though out. That being said it was one of the founding games and has reason to be flawed.
Aside from it I'd say x-2 and 13 are far and away the worst entries in the series. Which isn't really...
I think the final fantasy game I got most bored with was probably 13, not that I have anything against the game. In fact I love it, however the slow pace of its middle put me off finishing it for a while. The difficulty spike did nothing to mend that problem.
