Obviously Odin and Gilgamesh's attack won't work against all enemies, while they may kill some Bosses, most of the time they are ineffective against them. That's what happened here, you can't deal a status attack to Griver hence the 1 point damage.

The kid has talent for sure, but other then Cosmos - Disidia, the others are really not that impressive imo, plus they all look like they're sad.
