Yuna. I could never find it in myself to despise her. The girl was just too nice. Besides, she's the only one who could summon, and was an excellent healer, so I had her in my party most of the time.
I liked playing as Cait Sith, but I suck at anything that involves stealth. So, yeah, it got annoying after a while. Vincent's part were better. At least with him, you can fight back. With Cait Sith, you had to hide and push barrels just to get rid of an enemy.
Since it's a game, I'd assume Reno's hair is natural. This is a fantasy world after all. Your hair doesn't have to be the regular brown or black shade. Look at Cloud. He doesn't even look close to Japanese, and Reno is no different. Unless someone from SE actually confirms that he dyed it or...
If we're talkin' looks here, then Lightning definately leans more towards Cloud. As for personality, she seems more Squall-ish, but it's hard to judge just from trailers. She is supposed to be a female version of Cloud, but with a few differences of course.
Vanille? Evil? I highly doubt it, though it could make for an excellent plot twist. Still, Vanille seems way too innocent, and from what I've seen so far, she doesn't have the makings of a traitor. As for Yuna and Aerith, they were never evil either (just too damn nice). So, if Vanille takes...
Well, the title itself makes the game what it is. As for anything else, I would say things that make Final Fantasy memorable to the player. Like, for instance, summons have appeared in nearly every FF game, turning them some type of signature. But, for it to be a true Final Fantasy, I'd say the...
Hm? What's with the Tidus hate?......okay, I don't like him that much either, but still....
Anyway, I think I can understand Vivi showing up, since I've just recently noticed that a lot of people like him. As for Fran, I don't really think she's all that iconic yet. Hell, Paine never showed...
I noticed a few times, but I guess I never really thought about it until now. I'm guessing SE thought that people would be more focused on the gameplay, but even then, you notice things at random. Tidus and his odd default face is one of them. You can tell how he feels, but his expression just...
Gamestop is a good place to find old PS2 games. There's also this place called Swappers or something (forgot whole name) and it sells really old games, dating all the way to the Sega Genesis if I remember correctly. 'Course, they've got the new stuff too, but this is the only place I know that...
I haven't played the game yet, so I'm a little clueless. But, I did see Cloud's costume on a Youtube video. His AC outfit is pretty cool, but I would rather stick to his first outfit. They actually keep his original hairstyle from the game, which relieved me a little. Cloud's AC hair is nice...
I know, I know. I'm just saying she just gives off the vibe. The only reason I'm beginning to think like this is because of her 'tough' attitude. Well, maybe she has softer side. After all, we barely know anything about her.
Yeah, that about sums up what I was trying to point out. Another thing I've noticed in a few RPGs is the final boss is the reason why some characters band together in the first place. It's like, I don't know, destiny that they met, just for this sole purpose. What I'm saying is, you travel...
Well, my opinion of Lightning being a great lead still sticks after seeing the new trailers. But........something has been bothering me. Forgive me for sounding odd, since I can't really pin-point it, but for some reason, Lightning seems, I don't know, a little less...straight? I'm pretty sure...
I'm personally looking forward to XIII more than Versus. Don't get me wrong, I love games with a dark feel to it. But, for some reason, Versus just doesn't seem all that attractive to me. I've seen the trailers, but I still think that flagship XIII is going to be better than Versus in terms of...
I always found the MegTen series to be one of my favorites after my friend introduced me to the Persona games (I really recommend these). As for Devil Survivor, the whole demon fusion system is something you usually find in this series, but I'm pretty fond of it. I mean, it's unique if you think...
A final boss is usually a must in RPG games, since they tend to be the main cause of the characters' current problems. Well, not just the characters, but the world usually. Besides, I don't think it would feel right without a final boss. Doesn't that just make the game less epic? Not just that...
I guess it was Yuna's design change that kinda frustrated me. Seriously, her summoner outfit was pretty cool, so why change it in FFX-2? I don't know, but those freakishly short shorts and revealing shirt that obviously shows she isn't wearing a bra just seemed so.......well.....scandalous...
