I like it. I've added final fantasy forums as a contact so now my email actually gets mail from someone I know....Better than Viagra ads and I always have that faint hope that it is from the makers of Final Fantasy telling me that they're going to put me in their next game....

The opera scene is classic....I'll never forget that song....and Celes practicing singing, miserably...and shutting out Locke cuz of embarrassment...Ultros added additional comic relief....Great stuff.

Another point to be considered is that paladin Cecil DID beat up Dark Knight Cecil...Can't have no mamby bamby butt-kicked to the curb main character now. :P

I'd prefer to watch from afar and then, about the middle of the championship round, unleash my anima aeon upon a stadium of terrified screaming and running for their lives final fantasy fans....thus declaring my victory and greatness.

I was devastated about the ending of X, but that's also why I love it. Life is no fun if it's predictable...and there's lessons to be learned from that story...unlike X-2, which while a fun game for gameplay, is hardly on the same level and will never live up as a sequel....

I haven't bought the strategy guide of FFXII for this reason...The fear of missing something always overwhelms (Goodbye Zodiac Spear) but I prefer seeing what I can accomplish all alone and then compare it to what is possible....Like in FFX-II, I'd say my first go-round alone netted me about 70%...

If you had to choose one, it would be Terra for me...She starts the story and it is her dealings with the Espers that ties directly into the domination of the world aspect....Locke & Celes would be her friends that help save the day...Although the little chauvinist on my shoulder keeps...

That game, FF series (especially II & III for SNES & FFX) and Lunar I & II are games I'll never, ever git rid of. Ever. Heck, I bought Sega CD for Lunar I alone....How angry I was when I found out that it was to be remade later for playstation...Cuz I got nothing else out of that Sega CD. :P

I'll never forget that obnoxious MIDI Kefka laugh...LMAO. Best ever.

As far as I'm concerned IV is II.... Chrono Trigger is a great game.

I can safely say none of them. You can't replace those moments like the end of FFX...I remember how pumped I was to be close to facing sin that day and remember how devastated I was after watching the ending....Great stuff. Too fun to ruin by skipping ahead.

The final fantasy series is way better as a whole...but the original gold-cased zelda is second to none...Even non-rpg gamers loved that...It hit with pretty much everyone Super Mario Bros. style....

Final Fantasy I for Nintendo....It was a Xmas gift...My old man was one to grab the "hottest games going"...and apparantly a store worker at Toys R Us recommended it to him-seeing as he had no clue the difference. Thank you Toys R Us guy.
