I borrowed Memoch the Devil by Anne Rice and The Castle by Franz Kafka recently. I play to read them over the break. I have high hopes for Memoch, I haven't been really drawn into an Anne Rice since I read the Vampire Lestat.
I hope it'll be a good one.
Was a great series of books. I really have a lot of respect for someone that can write a 7 book series of 300+ pages each book and still have a certain amount of creativity flowing out.
As for my favorite book, I probably enjoyed the 5th book the most. It had the aspect of rebellion that I like...
Hah, you guys get to read some pretty good books in school. I enjoyed the Fountainhead, Lord of the Flies, and Siddhartha, but never ever was given the chance to read them for school.
As for book I read in school, I very much enjoyed the Crucible and bits and pieces of the Great Gatsby...
Oh it's good to see that I wasn't the only person that had to go back and rewatch some parts to get the gist of what they had just said. Perhaps we all watched the same subbed version, yes?
I absolutely loved this anime. So much so, that I still have the subbed version on my computer while I'm...
Hey-Hey folks. I'm one of the more respected members at a site called MyFavoriteGames, but don't be thrown off it's really a Dragonball Z and Naruto site. Much like every other site, our forums could use a few good members.
We aren't some crazy new site either, we've been around for 4 or 5...
Yeah, I've read a lot about it on another place. It's supposed to come out August 15th, 2008 and...Well, I haven't the foggiest of the plot yet. Honestly, I don't see how they can make a good movie that uses energy attacks and flying and all that in only a few monthes.
Though I hear Piccolo is...
I think I may have watched that same decoding the past episode that spawned this topic. I'm not sure though. It may have been just something on Nostradamus...or the Antichrist.
The thing about predictions, in both Nostradamus and the book of revelations is that predictions are always vague...
I used to absolutely love Rocko's modern life. I still pretty much do, but I only catch it at like 2 in the morning. Angry Beavers was good, but my dad liked that more than me. Rugrats, too, that was good. Rocket Power as well.
But Rugrats and Rocket Power got REALLY annoying when they started...
Like you said Onceman, they could've been real but it'd be hard for the fayth to remember everyone in Zanarkand.
But, if Jecht were a Blitzball player at the time Zanarkand was destroyed I'd suppose at least one of them would be a fan of his. So perhaps the people that ended up in dream...

Well...You can't really miss the similarities in name and architecture. I'm sure the world of Spira took inspiration from a lot of cultures, be it central or south-eastern asia.
Really does look a lot like it though.
Toppa Tengen really is good stuff. Still need to watch some of the newer releases though.
For me I've finished rewatching Fist of the North Star. Because it's classic and I was just in the mood for muscle bulging, shirt ripping, head exploding action.
I still say things are 'retarded' every now and then, but not so much anymore. I've never met anyone that straight forward came out and told me it was offensive, but I can sort of tell these things now.
I used to say things were 'gay' all the time and it slips out sometimes when I'm not...
I used to really hate this game when I first played it, but...The more and more I play it the more alright it seems.
The soundtrack bothered me at first, but some of the themes are pretty cool.
Lack of good blitzball = fail.
Story line = Fails everything but that romantic in me.
Missions = ghey...
It was pretty hard. When I first played I totally blew it off. It was only recently did I finally beat the Shinra.
Combos. All about the combos. Yup-Yup.
:D
Good! That means I didn't miss anything! Now I just have to remember to watch it on friday...
Stiil, seems like it's been a long time since it was last on. Or perhaps I just had an eventful year, yeh. Lol.
I haven't watched it myself, but the Hare Hare Yukai dance is...very...Um, how to put this. Very fun to watch, I guess.
My friends are attempting to memorize and preform it. That's even more fun to watch XD
o___o
I didn't think they still showed it.
I think...I may have missed a whole season. Last time I watched
It's been a long time, but I adored that show.
I didn't really like the Great Teacher Onizuka anime. There was something so plain about it. Loved the manga though.
Love Hina is a fun anime, I enjoyed that as well.
My list is something like Samurai Champloo, Ergo Proxy, Code Geass, and Paranoia Agent. Possibly some other Satoshi Kon movies...
I'd say mine are about 50/50 these days. My mom is pretty good with email and some aspects of the internet (but she still makes me do most things for her) Recently she learned how to download music and put it on here CD player.
My Dad...eh, technology is not his forte. He only had to learn to...
