I love VIII's Game Over screen, it's always struck me as the most poignant.
Just beautiful. It's pretty rare I get game-overs, so it's a big deal when I do, but at least there's a nice Game Over screen to look at while I rage for a few minutes.
Not really, their story was concluded quite well so while I'm sad to see them step aside, I don't mind playing as fresh talent.
It's been so long since the last game that it feels about right anyway lol.
And it makes more sense from the developers POV - a lot of people buying the game may not...
New trailer!

From what I can tell, it stays very faithful to the look and feel of the previous series entries, while freshening things up in a fun and interesting way. I look forward to it!
Advent Children: Complete altered it so you could actually see him behind the cape, shielding Cloud.
So there.
I guess the first time round the animators didn't have time to animate it properly, or couldn't get it right in time for the deadline?
Tifa...but not for the reasons you think!
I just generally thought she was a bit more down to earth, and she was pretty modest considering...y'know. I preferred her limit break too, you can really rack some damage (get it?) if you can chain her attacks together.
Plus, Aeris annoyed the heck...
Sometimes I find it helps to START with the older games in the series.
That way, each game is an upgraded experience.
Otherwise sometimes playing a prequel with not-as-good gameplay or graphics can put people off.
If I did, I wouldn't level up, just draw spells, turn enemies into cards to refine, that kind of thing.
Level gaps can pose a problem when the game levels up with you. >.>
As callous as it may be, I was never too bothered about her .
That's what she gets for screwing up my fake ID. :hmph:
Stupid woman. Get off the computer and make me a sandwich! :mokken:
Huh...well since you ruled out a new game +, X-2 is out. That game is pretty replayable, although I don't actually like the game all that much.
I personally find the early parts of VI to be a bit of a chore to replay through - for me the game doesn't start to really come together nicely until...
I really hate Pandemonium, especially while playing as a melee character. >.>
The camera angles get stuck in corners and I just can't see a goddamn thing, especially while chasing.
Ultimecia's Castle isn't too bad, but I dislike the fact that it's so easy to get stuck in bravery traps, since...
Everybody's inferred it already, but I'm just gonna come out and say it - she probably thought you were talking about a porn game.
I mean, come on? How would "Final Fantasy X" sound to you if you were unfamiliar with the series?
Plus, did you say "ten" or "ex"?
I am most certainly interested, keep up the good work!
I've always wondered about the Ultimania guides, and it annoyed me that they were Japanese-only. So thanks!
Timelines are especially interesting, as are developer interviews.
Although it'd be nice to see a prequel, it's already been said that it'd probably be too same-y.
Spira would be exactly the same, after all.
Maybe make it into an animated series?
Lol /jk.
Now that there is more and more info on the game, I'm actually getting more and more excited.
I didn't have much hope for the game at first, but it sounds like something I'd want to play.
It's a shame I don't have a damned Wii...
I, too, despair at the fact that Nintendo is bringing out yet another £$%^ing DS.
I'm perfectly fine with my base model DS, thank you very much! What's with all these stupid upgrades?!
I don't want to have to buy a 3DS just to play games that I want to play. Having to have both a DS and a PSP...
