I think it is worth getting. May even be a good starter choice for those who are wanting to get into the FFs. Good characters, story, GFs and battle system. The battle system is one of the most active of the FFs.

Love the game but the only thing i can see being done is to creat a movie/game of the back story taking place about Laguna, Kiros and Ward. However we know much of what had taken place. But they can easly creat something good out of it. Just leave it alone.

No i wouldnt want anything new out of IX. I love the game! But i dont see anything new that needs to be done with it or even a remake. It is perfect the way it is. SE needs to not spend the time on redoing already great games and just focus on the unheard of great FF's of the future.
