It was pretty much between Fields and Sun and Steel for me. I voted Fields cause I didnt notice Sun and Steel's name till it was too late. but you both should really post more. Field's spam and Sun and Steel's japanese stuff is always worth reading

FFX. BAM! It blew me and all my friends out of the water. Plus any other of its RPG competitors. It set the bar of gfx and it kept them up there quite high for a very long time

FFX has great music and diversity. From the opening menu screen, to the blitzball sequence, to all the boss battles and minor encounters. Its all memorable and one of the few game soundtracks worth listening to

Fran ftw. Who knew that a half bunny half human race would actually look cool. Plus, her personality is very cool. The cool and collected person most of the time that can turn into a raging powerhouse later in the mist.

Shiva is my favorite. I've always liked ice magic and girls, and she combos them well. Now she'll be a motorcycle. Kinda sad

I'll be surprised if XII doesnt win this. All of the voice acting is superb and the sfx are pretty amazing. But Fran and Balthier seriously have the coolest voices in the videogame world. Few rival their performances.

FFVIII's production values were about the only thing that madde it a great RPG to me. The opening video was superb and so were the rest of the cutscenes. Too bad the gameplay didnt live up to my expectations.

Voted the Ragnarok. It's really the only airship that sticks out in my mind that I'd actually like to have. The others were too conservative desgin wise from what I remember

our admin has good taste. The game had all of above plus great music and it pretty much set the standard of what RPGs had to be like on the PS2 the same way FFVII set up the PSX. But FFX stands tall as the best imo

Exactly. Plus, there are young, vulnerable, easily swayed kids around. There is no need to pass around such an offensive word and end up getting these kids in trouble when they say it IRL.

It's obvious that is not the case when people are still getting sued for these actions.
