I gave myself a headache trying to arrange my favorites - there are so many!
Each of them invoke emotions in me and immediately draw me back to the stories.
Rydia - she's a powerhouse in her own game universe. She's been a summoner since she was a child, experienced combat since she was a child (Thanks Cecil and Kain!), grew up in the Feymarch with the summon spirits, etc. She's amazing!
Edgar and Sabin.
I started playing this when I was little with my older brother, so I always named them after the two of us and they were permanent fixtures in my party. Plus, they're both beasts in this game!
The GBA version omits most of the more risque statements like Edgar's mentioned above and Kefka's "son of a submariner".
I played this game when I was very young and can only remember the deaths of particular characters being rough (I cry at games to this day haha).
I always noticed the discrepancy, but never questioned it that much. Thanks for the info! I prefer seeing her with green hair since that's the way I first saw her.
Absolutely love this game. It was the first FF game I owned (the SNES version) and second I had played (FF2 for SNES being the first).
It has a huge, diverse cast of characters. A truly sadistic and amazing villain. Romance, betrayal, death, etc.
