This isn't true if you don't AP whore in the beginning. My GF's would often cause like 2000-4500 damage with my characters doing about 200-280 on the beginning and middle of disk 2. Thats pretty invaluable especially when you use them your party member can't take damage.

Well if it was mind control how do some people remain unaffected by it? I don't understand how everyone but a small group can remain unaffected. I think mind control can actually be ruled out.

If they beef up the graphics for the PSP for them I'd be happy, but it's not necessary. I just really want to be able to play them on my PSP. Yeah the Turks were great in most of the games. In AC I think the Turks were hands down one of if not the best part of the game. Both Reno, and Rude in the movie were done really well. They looked, sounded, and acted almost exactly as I would have thought. I like them in everything they were in.

You aren't going to want to get Steiner's ultimate weapon on the first playthrough, and I'm not sure if that would even be possible. To get it you have to get through the almost the whole game in like 12 hours or something and it's not worth it.
