^ I agree with this. Plus, in the opening scene, Auron greets Sin. Before you get sucked into Sin after DZ events, I'm sure he turns around to Sin and says, "Are you sure?"/"You are sure?" (something to that effect) so obviously it was planned, to get Tidus into Spira. (;

I remember playing FF8 after an FF10 session and I sincerely missed healing save points. It does make grinding more challenging, makes you preserve MP and makes getting through certain areas hard but getting out on the other end is such an achievement! xD Healing save points is bonus though...

Clever gambits & plenty of grinding, you're sailing. There's never been bosses where I've had anything more over 3 attempts, although the higher-lvl hunts are deeming themselves harder. (Ixion ;_; ) Even then, it's just a case of getting a higher lvl, checking gambits or alternatively buying 6x...

As far as customisation, face types & hair style & hair colour. Selected choice, though. I recently just got the 14-day-free trial and as the above poster said, it is the only way of free gaming on it. (: Ofc, when you get armour, it shows up on your character so that's a kind of customisation...
