I like anime more than manga. Although, in terms of the story itself, the manga's usually better than the anime since the story is usually more developed and all that.
But, IMO, an anime is livelier and more enjoyable. It emphasizes on the action going on, compared to a manga composed of only...
I'm Filipino, which I guess makes me Asian. Born and raised in the Philippines, although I'm not a pure Filipino. I have Spanish and Chinese blood flowing in my veins as well.
The main character is pretty. That's all I have to say about it. :mokken:
j/k
I read the book, and the book is definitely more serious and, to some extent, better. But the movie was beautiful in itself. The graphics are well done, and the acting was pretty average (the actor playing Mr. Harvey...
Girlfriends (it's a yuri manga).
I just finished the last chapter yesterday. It was... a nice way to end the series, I suppose. But way too cheesy for my taste.
Well... I liked it.
It was one of the first few I've played, but I guess it wasn't really "my cup of tea" when I first played it. I suppose that it had something to do with the fact that the setting was much darker and the mood more serious (the humor was either too vulgar for me, or was just...
Pokemon Yellow on the GBC. Although, it was more of a "one-time" thing, since I just borrowed that GBC from my uncle.
For the PS, I would have to say Chocobo's Dungeon 2. Never been into it, though.
I managed to get my Thievery to do at least 9000+ damage. :awesome:
Another achievement: Finally had my graduation picture for the yearbook taken! It's sad though: I cannot believe I'm graduating.
I lol'd.
This is so true on so many levels.
Another cliche I'm sick of seeing is the "ugly girl was first invisible to guy she likes, then suddenly she becomes visible the moment she gets her face reconstructed". This kind of thing is usually common in T.V. shows and movies in my country...
I get these moments all the time.
Usually happens when I answer tests, and I feel like leaving something blank b/c it requires extensive thinking. I think to myself, "Maybe I'm going to run out of time, so I should probably fill this in." But then I think, "Oh whatever, I'm not going to run out...
Just the Way You Are -- Bruno Mars
Rating: 9.5/10
Definitely one of the better "modern" songs out there. The lyrics are just beautiful, and the song itself sounds sincere and honest. Whenever I listen to this song, I suddenly get that feeling of wanting a boyfriend.
Definitely the vampire fad.
Honestly, is it me, or did this fad just start when the book "Twilight" was released?
I, personally, would have had no problem with this fad if the shows that followed it weren't soppy, teen love stories.
There's a popular quote made up by some music enthusiasts that goes: "Some people believe in God, I believe in music. Some people pray, I turn up the radio."
IMO, people nowadays feel very strongly about music. As said previously, it can even be likened to a cult. But I personally think it's...
I absolutely love this game.
It may sound a little bit biased, since it was technically the first of the FF series I've played, but it's definitely one of the best out there.
It had a very "fantasy" element to it, but at the same time, it was able to incorporate modern elements into the game...
This, basically.
Ruby Weapon, IMO, dealt more damage in a shorter amount of time, compared to Emerald Weapon. I mean, when I fought EW, I still had time to deal some damage to him and do this and that. But when I fought RW, it's like, 5 seconds into the battle and he's already wiped me out. :|
Most of my embarrassing confessions are rated PG-13, so I suppose I'll have to share the ones that aren't so embarrassing here. :ryan:
Well, I've confessed to my internet friends that I like Justin Bieber. But none of my friends IRL know that I like him. :ryan:
I was probably seven or eight when I played both FF7 and FF9 (Yes, I'm a two-timer).
Although I shortly stopped playing FF7 after a few weeks, since I was playing it on an emulator [in my PC] and my PC was being donated to my fresh-out-of-high-school brother.
So I managed to play only FF9...
