I'm replaying vi cuz it's been awhile. I gotta say I've always liked the game and it's in a three way tie with vii and ix for my favorite ff game. Best part about it is the characters and their abilities, and the storyline is epic. If this had the same graphics as ix, my mind would be blown away.

Quina was very useful. I needed that mighty guard early, she's killed alot of enemies for me, and she can cook the earth guardian so i dont have to go through hell for an entire battle. And without him/her/it, you can't fight hades.

I could see a prequel being possible for this game, with the original Garland and Kuja story, the destruction of Madain Sari but I feel where the original story ends, you really can't continue with a spinoff sequel. A movie or a tv series of the actual game I think would do really well.
