I loved the ending of X, it was tragic, upsetting and woeful but it made sense that way and gave the whole story that Shakespearean aspect of loss, that sadness and tragedy never really stops in peoples lives no matter how much they've defeated. But I felt the happy ending of X-2 ruined this, it...
The ending of X was just heartbreaking, in a good way. It's a shame it was ruined by the X-2 ending (I'd like to think the ending where she is canonical).
Other than that the lake scene in X where Yuna briefly fantasies about giving up her pilgrimidge and living a happy life with Tidus, before...
Because OMG HE TALKS LIEK A GAY AND HE SHOWS HIS BODY SO HES A GIRL FAIL!!!11!
Actually, all characters in Final Fantasy XII were designed to have sparse clothing, or at least show a fair amount of skin, to reflect the heat of the world. The only person who isn't really is Baltheir, he's got to...
Yeah, I can't help it, I just love Spira so much and would DIE for a X-3 :)
Rikku decided she would go off on adventures on her own so I would love for her to be the new protagonist, maybe she and Paine gather a whole new cast for a whole new adventure.
I appreciated it, I don't think it made things less difficult, it's just that every once in a while you got to be like "oh, I guess I needn't bother using my potions, there is a save sphere over there :)".
No piece of media has EVER reduced me to tears apart from Clannad After Story, with what happens to Nagisa, so I didn't cry during Final Fantasy X. I welled up a bit in the end though, in a "Ugh, that was so epic!" kind of way.
They're knocked out they don't actually die you guys... phoenix downs just bring people back to consciousness and heal them, they don't bring people back from the afterlife.
Noel fuck off and stop looking increasingly like a Kingdom Hearts characters, its confusing me.
Pretty boring bunch of screens tbh, but that giant robotic hand intrigues me, surely where there is a hand a body follows? Is there some kind of gigantic fal'cie robot living inside Cocoon?
Vaan is a boring character, but he isn't as bad as people make him out to be. He isn't whiny, and he isn't a pussy. I never heard him whine to another character, and he is completely brave all the time, people make him out to be something he just isn't.
Are Serah and Noel going to be the only two playable characters? (minus the fiends) I hope not, I like big casts :/
Also I really hope Serah gets tougher / more interesting by XIII-2, she was the most boring character in XIII (and that is a pretty big achievement) so I'm not too excited about...
Lulu's had a hard life from the beginning anyway, she has had her family wiped out by sin from a young age and lives in poverty, when she met Chappu she gained happiness and romance but then lost it, as well as losing her first summoner, she's had some hard times so I can see why she turned to...
I like XIII, it doesn't have towns, but if I spent all my time thinking about what each Final Fantasy doesn't have I'd drive myself crazy. But what it does have for me is a hugely engaging storyline with an interesting back story, mythology and setting, characters that all have a reason to be...
It's just the way XIII is, it's very full on emotional from the beginning. I definitely don't think it was melodramatic, the character had every reason to be sobbing their eyes out, so its just a side effect from a very intense story.
I think the stories are meant to be enjoyed independently as their own thing, regardless of whether you know the mytho's behind certain things (like the creator and stuff) the story can still stand on its own legs. But the mythology just adds that much more meaning to the world, I read it, but...
I kind of want to hear why people are so opposed to this, other than "I'm sick of final fantasy VII! Let it go! Make new games!".
Umm... don't play it then?
Am I missing something here? There has been no contradictions, it has never been said that the remake was going to happen. Just some...
To be fair it sold ridiculously fast in the first place, wasn't it the fastest selling? (please tell me, I might be dreaming that up XD).
JRPG's don't usually do well after the first month anyway, most people who are interested in a JRPG will buy it around the time that it comes out. JRPG's...
