That's not entirely accurate.
Actually, it's not biblically accurate at all.
The only mention of Satan's fall is in the The Book of Revelations, which prophesizes the future.
I thought it was pretty good, maybe the storyline wasn't quite up to par with VII, but the gameplay was good.
I thought the storyline could have been better, it got kind of sloppy near the end, but all in all it was a great game.
Believe it or not, I'm not to keen with graphics.
In fact, since I've bought a Mac, I'm not even sure which program is the best for editing various graphic files.
I'd like an avatar made of one of my various forms or depictions, if one has the time.
Also, if someone would recommend a...
What? For one, what does God do to actively sustain life? What does he do at all to give him this title, "sustainer of life?"
And two, how does God follow through with a creature's decision and make the creature as if it never were? This sounds particularly absurd, but if you can back it up...
The Bible doesn't say this. Quote me the passage.
Yes, but it never specifies which wicked one.
That's a rough paraphrasing "Job" right there, that's for sure.
I can do a bit of a better Job:
The book of Job is somewhat of a mystery. It doesn't really deal with the history of Israel, and...
In this forum, I was under the impression that we wrote and debated in English. Try it, it's not that hard once you get the hang of it.
Skirnir, I'll look into your mother's bloodline when I have a chance.
Oh, my point though - what of people who worship the devil then?
Well then, let's just say that I deal with angels on a regular enough basis to ensure that if I did not believe in them, I would be thoroughly delusional.
Tsk tsk. Your people, the ones who Christianity bastardized, are not allowed to study the kabbalah until they have memorized certain religious texts sacred to your people.
Also, women are forbidden to study the kabbalah, if I remember properly.
No one is testing your faith, as you obviously don't have any.
Not that this makes you any better or worse, except it makes you highly inept in understanding the faith of others, as posts like this only go to illustrate.
I'm just paraphrasing what Plato wrote, I'm not judging homosexuality in any way, nor am I commenting currently on Greek history outside of what Plato wrote.
Satan never rebelled against heaven, nor was he cast out of it.
There is absolutely no evidence in the Bible to indicate otherwise. All biblical evidence indicates that satan was a generic Hebrew term that applied to angels, men, and other entities, and that most of the biblical satans worked...
I'm not saying that they are lying, I'm saying that they did not come from your observations whatsoever, and therefore they come from your beliefs. Observing a few of them on a smaller scale means nothing compared to the bulk of scientific thought that you have chosen to believe.
Oh, and...
Why don't you read higher up? Seriously, read the posts and read you own arguments.
Let me reiterate my post that you asked me to back up, as you were obviously unclear on the points:
"No. Good try though. Many of them began their academic careers as students of science, and then went over to...
So you still have not arrived at these conclusions based on direct observation, and are choosing to believe in the observations of others.
There's nothing truly wrong with your logic, but it by no means perfect.
However, many of the things you believe in are not your direct observation. Unless of course you've personally re-performed every experiment in the bulk of scientific knowledge that you claim as your own. You are choosing to believe what you have been taught, or what you have read of others...
