I'll say it's about equal to FF VII and is definitely worth getting. I've never beaten it either...I got stuck aboard the Ragnarok, so I do have a sort of grudge against the game because I've tried to beat it 3 times now and have failed all 3 times. But, it was good while it lasted, to be sure.

I have to go with Yuffie, too~ =3 She was my support character (weird, right?) powering everyone up with Haste and Wall and the like. Plus, she was powerful in her own right, as well. Tifa comes in a veeerrrrry close second. ^^

Classics are nice, but they get tiresome after a while, and after being spoiled with games with much better graphics...let's just say that I haven't touched FFVII for years and that shouldn't be the case. It definitely should be remade, but I swear if they change any part of that...

Balthier is cool and all, but my favorite character is Fran. I think most people kept her using a bow, but I changed that fact right quick. I gave her a katana instead and she really knows how to kick some serious ass with it. XD Plus, she is soooo sexy wielding that katana~! =3
