Well that's what it's like with a majority of the bosses (maybe not boring). They're quite easy so you can leisurely steal and do what you like (although probably not as easy as VIII's bosses).
As the people above said it was great, characters, story, challenging and full of great moments. The only reason people would dislike it is because of Tidus and his sobbing. He was sometimes annoying. X was definately up there as one of the best.
I remember when I fought him I defeated him the four times and I kept doing it. I had to look around before I realised I missed a him in one section. I had such a hard time with the first one I thought, why 5? But hey, it's just the way it is. Yojimbo was a different aeon, so naturally, the...
It didn't ruin X, it just was a very bad idea. I played it until after the whole first scene in Luca. Then when Yuna you had to go to sleep to start the next bit I stopped playing it. Sorry, aint going any further.
Just wanted to know if many people decided to surpress its powers, and if that made it any more of a challenge? I've never done it myself and wanted to know the difference it makes, if any.
Yer, he's talking about XII I think, lol. I didn't really find the boses to to hard at all. The only monster that game me a run for my money was Ozma. However, if I had to pick one I would say Necron because of his Neutron Ring or whatever it was called (the thing the cast status effects on...
Yer, it has elements of FF; but I don't think you can stick a few elements of FF and then say it is a story you'd find in FF. It had the bare minimun of Final Fantasy in the story. It was more like SE's twist on the Lord of the Rings. It lacks that something that propels you into the experience...
Both series are great in my opinion. I would probably say FFXII simply because there's probably much more to see and do and it is overall a great experience. I have played some of my mates TP on the Wii and I did love it but I'd say XII. I don't think they're that different either. They're both...
Okay, I do understand what your saying and because the characters and story were'nt really great it doesn't feel much like a trye FF (I have said this before). The story to me doesn't feel like a story you would find in any FF in fact; and the characters didn't help with the lack of depth or...
Same here. My first impressions were actualy good. I loved it! But then I declined as time passed. But now, after a long break, I'm enjoying it quite a lot; I'm hooked. The battle system is a big part of this. Love it.
I have to agree with you Tidus was probably one of the most annoying character to grace a FF, lol. X would have been better off if he had developed more.
Why you hate X soooo much, it can't be because it had Tidus in it, can it? I mean break it down: it had the character development, a great story, beautiful world, great music and what I liked about this game (as in IX) the story did have a strong focus on the summons. I love it when the summons...
XII's is the best battle system thus far for me. It's not mindless hack and slashing like in KH it's a mixture of turn-based and real-time battling. The battles are so addictive, you just flow from one enemy to the next; feeling the wait of your weaponry as all your party pound on the fiend with...
When I first played this game I loved it; but then over time I started to grow less and less fond of it. The story wasn't reeling me in and I didn't feel much for the characters. It was a letdown and I stopped playing it...
But after a long break I've bit the bullet and began playing it once...
I always find it's best to train everyone of your characters because as you know they all have to be used in the game somehow, sometimes alone (Kimahri) and sometimes you need them for special occassions such as when you have to control only the adept swimmers (Rikku, Wakka and Tidus). To avoid...
Lulu. She has this ruthless, silent side persona and is very powerful and strong, yet she also shows a compassionate side and has more of a personality than Paine. I love her character.
