Basch - Belias
Balthier - Hashmal
Penelo - Famfrit
Ashe - Adrammalech
Fran - Mateus, Shemhazai
I don't really use the Espers though because I find them to be quite in-effective. They just get beaten down too quickly or the enemy gang up on my summoner and KO him/her in order to get rid of the...
I voted Malboro because it is the most terrifying plain and simple. The Omega Weapon is terrifying no doubt, but Malboro is the most acclaimed terrifying monster, nothing beats the Malboro and its breath.
Well, they've only announced Shiva and her sister summon transform into a bike so we don't know if all the summons will be able to do the same. I was a bit shocked at first but like i've said I see potential. I'm waiting till a proper unveiling till I judge on it properly.
I think that, perhaps, right now the Wii seems like a party platform. But with games like Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Sadness, RE: UC, Manhunt 2, Final Fantasy and other non-maimstream titles Wii will become more of a console for EVERY gamer out there. Casual, kiddy and mature games to...
Story-wise I agree, but I think they should keep real-time encounters. They should maybe produce a stylish new battle system that combines turn-based with fast-paced, stylish, action. I liked the XII battle system mind but I wouldn't mind reverting back if it was modernized.
I didn't mean FF XIII, someone was asking about the FF Versus XIII battle system and that's what I was replying to, with the swords being warp points, that I read fom an interview with Nomura.
Congrats on beating the game, it definately is up there as the best RPG experiences. I'm so glad you was able to get past the gaphics as my mate couldn't handle it as his first was X and I don't think he could handle the old-skool graphics, which was a shame.
I've completed it once and I've...
I totally agree. Although I can say that you love the character of Quina more than me, I agree with all your points about how Quina was very different from the norm and how she did add humour to the game. I too was a bit shocked by the character but within the game he/she did give us the...
Although I wasn't too hot on the Junction System, however, VIII was the best in terms of the summons (or GFs). The GF in VIII have far more character and presence in VIII than any other FF game before, or after, it. Having the GFs have a repetuoire of abilities for you to learn makes them far...
Once you've done the Cactuar sidequest and stoped the sandstorm you can find the Sand Worm down there. That's the place I remember fighting it the most.
Well let's look at the previous games wasn't the main character the person that you controlled when you walked around the many residential areas. Well, who do you control....Vaan. That means Vaan is the main character no doubt. However, as I've said earlier it's more focused on Ashe. What this...
In terms of fiends I have to say the most hated would have to be the Magic Pots simply because you can't just simply beat them quickly which annoys me when I'm just ploughing through the battles. Bosses, I don't know about bosses, umm, the last one (Yu Yevon) 'cause he was too piss easy to be...
I've actually beaten this boss and am quite far now but when I encountered it, it was absolutely ridiculous. When it started to split into loads it was like how the hell do you expect me to find the real one out of sooooo many. It kept striking me and Disabling me (which was an utter bitch). I...
I'd say go back and play the first 3D FF, FFVII. Then after all the 3D ones play all the old-skool classics. I've been playing XII (finished VII, VIII, XI and X) but I've also been playing FF IV cause it's quite renowned by fans and I've never played the 2D classics.
The music of FFVII was truly superb. It was probably the most complete collection of music I've ever heard on any of the FFs I've played. The music ranged from humble, peaceful pieces, to epic, orchestral scores that were amazing to listen to. The collection of music in VII and pieces such as...
I voted for Ashe although I do agree that it could possibly be Vann, with the story being told through his perspective. Some parts didn't seem so though and I sort of didn't think about him till he asked a couple questions or made a statement between each long dialogue between Ashe and co.
It had been a while since I'd be playing FFIX and I thought I knew a great deal of its secrets. Then I discover that Fenrir and Carbuncle have more to offer:
Fenrir has an alternative attack named Millenia Decay (Wind damage) that he will unleash when Eiko is equipped with the Maiden Prayer...
I didn't mind the License Board; the only thing I didn't like is that it was over far too quickly and that it wasn't as expansive as the Sphere Grid. In regards to character control, you could control all characters if you so wish; it's your choice if you chose to control them all or just one...
It would have to be Sephiroth. Although I believe I would be more in awe of just be in his presence. I'd probably ask him loads of questions before we went into battle and then watch him as he painted his foe all over the battlefield. By fighting along side him he must be on the good side at...
