I really don't like the song at all. I hope it is not used much in the actual game. Even the use of it in all the marketing makes me cringe when i watch the commercials for the game. I am really looking forward to this game as well which makes not enjoying the advertisement for the game itself...

I greatly prefer the piano version of the music to the version in the game but still its music I would listen to in order to relax. I enjoy it especially in the games context.

I am looking forward to trying this new system I hope it is alot more perfected then the system that we had in 12. However I am worried that the more they move away from the turn base system the more Final Fantasy will move away from RPG and more towards ACTION RPG. I personally love Action rpgs...

So far from what I can tell all the games seem to take place in the same worldish but have nothing to do with each other story wise. So you can start with any game you wish. I would recommend the Gamecube game but it is best played with 3 friends.

I have both a PS3 and a 360 but I will be buying this on the PS3 since it is the console it was originally developed for and I prefer the ps3. Here is hoping for the game not selling as well on the 360.

I don't think she really looks much like either besides the fact that they like to make male characters look more feminine. I do however think that her gunbladish weapon looks very cool and when I saw it somehow I had more hope for the game then previously.

To me its a tie between 11 and 12 for both not feeling quite enough like an FF game compared to all the games that came before them.

I downloaded the trial of ff11 but once your in the game simply figuring out how to move to begin with makes no sense. I am currently over halfway through my second play through of FF12. I like it better the second time through but its still not so good. I am also playing through FF6 via FFA...

FFX was the first game I anticipated I had just beaten FFVIII right when FFXI came out so I pretty much just went from one to the other with no real anticipation involved just great timing. Before that I had really only started to get into RPGs thanks to the modern miracle of emulators.

I think the fact that squall is so hated for his personality shows how real they made his character in the game. People in general have people they get along with and like and those they don't. Personally due to the extreme amount of character development he has I rather enjoyed the game alot...

If FF did not exist there is a chance I might have actually gotten into shooters. Thank god that didn't happen.
