I think you mean the Demon wall, you have to fight two of them, with the first one being optional (and necessary if you want a very good sword early in the game.) And they do look scary, it crushes your party if you don't kill it quickly enough.

I also remembered that the Imperial city of Archades was in fact based on the Imperial city of Coruscant from Star Wars, it even has the same floating cabs.

#1, fer sure, it has nice colours that go together. The others have artists that feature too predominantly, so yeah. And #7 is well, yellow....not that i could do any better.
