You'll be fine using gladius for now, I hadn't really began to upgrade weapons until later than you are, mainly because I didn't have the gil to do anything significant. If you want to upgrade then go for it, but you'll be perfectly fine with what you've got now :) Best of luck :D

I find it weird how you can be under the time, yet still only 3 or 4 star it, never made sense to me tbh :p, however I did read somewhere how it was worked out... but that never helped me, just seemed confusing. Although I was happy 5 starring Attacus on first attempt :)

Well it only took me 88 hours 10 minutes to do, but finally completed my Crystarium on all characters and finished all 64 missions, currently I am on 840/1000 gamerscore and can't see this being maxed any time soon, possibly going to 920/1000 if i find the time to 5 star everything, but can't...

On the day of release I played the game for 15 hours straight if that makes you feel any better :), only break in that was to have dinner :P

To begin with, I've got to make this clear, I'm new-ish to Final Fantasy games, I've known about them but RPG never used to be a game I was interested in. It is probably also worth while mentioning the only game I've completed that similar to Final Fantasy is Lost Odyssey, so overall my view...

Only complaint I have about this game was the fact you were limited to 3 characters for a battle and even then only controlled one... however loved the amount of cut scenes a very metal gear solid approach with that if you ask me... makes me happy knowing i watched them all for a change :D

You'll notice when you get the trophy/achievement normally however you know you're near the end of the chapter when you find a boss that you and your party can struggle with, hope this helps =]

It's not guaranteed to do it, however I've done it once or twice with Hope's Eidolon
