IV took me about 24 hours, considering I did do some bonus stuff like getting Asura, Leviathan and Bahamut summons, and also going to that secret cave in Mt Ordeals to get other characters' special weapons.
V and VI both took me around 30-35 hours, once again with some bonus stuff completed...
Still can't put a definite vote out there, as I've only played VI, VII, IX and nearly finishing X soon, and also a bit of VIII. But from these so far, VII has been quite nice for replay value as I started replaying it a few days ago and the last time I completed it was about this time last year...
Kefka for me too. He was by far better developed than Sephiroth. Like mentioned earlier, Sephiroth is just cool in terms of looks and fighting style, but Kefka's insanity makes him a much more interesting villain.
Plus Kefka also accomplished more as a villain than Sephiroth. Once again that...
Haha, that's a funny drawing there, Argor. It'd be hard to take ExDeath seriously if he actually looked like that. So if he does, perhaps it's best that he wears his menacing armor.
Yeah interesting idea, but I think I'd prefer to keep Yuna as a summoner/white mage, because I like to find some use for every character. Although too bad Kimahri isn't particularly good against any enemy types, so he's probably my least used character.
^Lol thanks. There are too many great characters in FF games, and I've only played about half of them. Also forgot to mention FF7's Cid in the honourable mentions. He could be an NPC as our airship pilot. Perhaps some other honourable mentions could be NPCs. Better to have them as NPCs than not...
Been putting it off, but I can't anymore. I'll change this list later once I play more FF games. For now my choices are based on those I've played (FF4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 and a bit of 8). I too will try to balance the team, so some of my favourite might not make it.
Mandatory team (in order...
I hardly ever run from battles and so Brave blade was very strong for me. It had a power stat of 149, higher than all those legendary weapons, so I ended up using it.
I agree with those who mentioned Wakka's weapons. It's ridiculous to use sportballs to kill monsters, machines and such. I just...
OK so I tried and it worked. Thanks loads guys and girls. Though after 3 cycles it kinda got hard and the bar wouldn't budge any more. Not one of the best overdrives, that's for sure.
^Well you do now. Lol. :D
That's true, except Vincent actually has good reasons to be angsty about.
"Did you sleep well, Chuckles?"
"Next to you, who wouldn't."
^That must've been a funny experience.
So it's just the right analog stick, possibly clockwise? OK thanks. I'll have to try that the next time. Maybe because I was pressing the other stuff whilst doing it it might've not worked. But I am fairly sure the joystick is fine.
Hehe, nicely done. Reno's expression definitely suit it. You won't imagine what just happened though. As I watched the video the second time, literally the moment Tidus began laughing, my msn went off with the sound of Kefka's laughter. Made me laugh even more. Would it be possible to edit this...
Hah hilarious. Doesn't it get confusing?
And yeah, love the Chuckles one. These kind of ambiguous joky names actually could turn some of the most serious quotes into perhaps some of the funniest.
Seriously this might sound like an incredibly stupid and beginner question, but how does one use Lulu's overdrive? I don't get it. I've tried everything with my joystick, tried spinning the analog sticks, the directional buttons, pressing X and other buttons whilst doing so and still nothing...
Hmm, I usually just leave the character names as they are, but the first time I was playing FF7 I remember I did change the names, and it still cracks me up to this day how I didn't know you name the playable characters, so when I first came across Cait Sith, I named him Fat Twat or something...
What kind of sound effects? You mean the thwacks and laughters? Kefka's laugh is fairly easy to find. I even set it as one of my msn sounds, for when someone from my contacts logs in.
