I always thought Fury was good whenever I had it, but I never gave it to my characters purposely. They took a little more damage, but I don't remember a situation when they were taking so much damage it was dangerous.
I never did it on purpose until today... on this playthrough I'm trying to...
To be honest, I kind of thought that was the point of the beginning of this game... to put the player behind this eco-terrorist group instead of clearly defined, horse-riding heroes. Like HighwindPilot said, it's not completely black and white, so it makes the player think.
Eco-terrorism is...
Low-tier characters! It's cool, I know what you meant.
Really? So that would mean the actual party is two with three temporary guests. That's such a radical departure I don't even know what to think.
Loved it. It took a long time to get used to it (probably the end of Chapter 1 before I absolutely had the hang of it), but once I was in I never looked back. I thought it was cool to have fights last that long - made me feel like I was getting everything I could out of the game. It really did...
Correct me if I'm remembering incorrectly, but that Checkpoint scene... is that near the point in the game when you have to fight Sin at the end of Mi'ihen Highroad? Because that part gets me, too! It's so sad.
X/X-2 did and Tactics had its own religion as well. Yevon and Glabados felt kind of similar in structure to me, so I wonder if this one will be any different.
I kind of expected this, to be honest! That video's going to be the next ASAS/Deep Dive - we're going to be analyzing it FOREVER, but loving everyone minute of it.
...I need a PSP.
I see. Yeah, part of the main appeal of the first game is Dante's personality. I have no idea why they'd mess that up.
I need to finish the first three and get DMC4. It seems like whenever I start playing them another game comes out and I start playing that instead.
I can't tell which I'll like more. But I am excited for Versus, mostly because of the first trailer. We still don't have that much to go on, but I'm keeping high hopes for this one. I think the supposed realism it's what's drawing me in. It can't be all that realistic with crystals and a guy...
It probably is too early for this much hype... but that's never stopped me from getting hyped in the past, haha.
This is probably right. We don't know that much about it, so the potential for a very good game is there. As more and more information comes out, it'll be met with "Yes, I love it!"...
At the end of the game when everyone is in everyone else's Sphere Grid path and breaking damage limits, Yuna and Lulu were suddenly really strong in my party. Like, beastly. After beating it, I stopped playing this game for a long time (years) and then went back to do Omega Ruins, and after some...
Hm. Well, personality-wise I really liked Yuffie. When she all I could think was, "...Is she being serious right now?" But I couldn't be mad because of her constant upbeat attitude. One-note? Maybe, but I saw her as doing the best she could with what she had. It was a marked difference from...
This would be more than I expected.
I'm kind of with DarkClaymore because I don't really want to be spoiled, but who am I kidding? I'll be reading all of the TGS reviews I can to find out more about this build.
I'm really excited and have high expectations for both of these games... so if this means they can get Versus out faster but still maintain the same quality, then I'm all for it. I just don't want them to rush it and possibly ruin it to get it released closer to FF13.
