Basically all of this, I must have started the game from the beginning 15+ times since it has came out but only completed it about 4/5 times. I leave it for a while then can't get into it again so start it from the beginning or Play another RPG.

All of them are defiantly worth playing even the earlier one's that you have mentioned, the storylines might not be as detailed as the older one's but you get to learn more about the series, Out of them you should try Final fantasy IV, a great set of characters and the storyline is really good...
