My biggest gripe has always been, and always will be, the tension between Protestants and Catholics. Their religions are so GODDAMN similar, yet they fight so much that they essentially split Ireland in half. It's like they enjoy killing each other over insignificant details.

Dear God...
You see, the Escapist is hosting its March Madness brackets for the best developers, and somehow Zynga got on there. Zynga is now promoting this on facebook, causing a mass attack of spammers to have Zynga beat EVERYONE. Even (at the moment) Infinity Ward.

Okay, so I'm in chapter 11, and I ran into a very good spot for grinding. I run up this hallway, and a door opens during a cutscene, revealing a . I saw the item node near it, and my eyes lit up.
10 tries later, and I gave up. I'm not sure if my party isn't strong enough, or if I'm doing...
2,3 and 5 could have been combined. 3 and 5 are basically supports for 2, in the sense that they give specific examples of how linear the game is. Otherwise, your points are valid, except for one minor detail, with that I'm pretty sure your weapons DO change when upgraded to the next weapon...
I can't wait. Although I still have to beat a bunch of them, this will come before them all, especially with all of the positive feedback from it. It's the highest rated FF on Metacritic, after all.
Ants of the Sky - Between the Buried and Me
I've listened to this song three times in a row, and it's 13 minutes long. It's got an epic beginning and end, and enough changes in the middle (including a country breakdown) to make it awesome. Possibly my new favorite song ever.
So far I've only tried upgrading two weapons, and I starred one.
It seems like the oils and oozes seem to build up multipliers, while the other items are there to give a ton of experience. I'm not positive on this though.
From what I've heard, this game is like a complete contrast to FFXIII, as far as JRPGs go. I might pick it up, if for no other reason than the fact that it's different.
Ugh, beat the 5th Cie'th mission, but with one star.
I'm not sure if I'm not strong enough, or if my tactics are just horrible. With one star, it's probably a mix of both. Still, the grindage is actually pretty fun. Close to getting my first lvl 4 role.x3
This. I remember looking at the time played on the party menu and thinking "it's been 25 hours?". You know a game did its job when it doesn't feel like you've been playing nearly as long as you truly have.
Hope, by far. I like the other characters simply because they can stand him.
To be fair, he's gotten better, but still the worst character. He's the Edward in this game in that he's so bad compared to the rest of the cast. Although he's still more useful in battle than Edward was...
Least favorite: FFXII
- The license board was actually pretty good, assuming you knew when certain spells were available
- Ashe and Balthier make up for Vaan and Penelo
- No random battles
Favorite: FFIV
- Edward.
- Lack of customization
- Edward.
- No real "super" bosses, considering that the...
Oh, okay. I thought I was screwed for a second, because I never use the Eidolons.
Well, seems easy enough. I've already hit 45,000 without Eidolons, even if was using the Smite skill....
I always found that I wasn't doing nearly enough damage on him... I can't remember the effect on the chain gauge though. I still highly recommend a Saboteur.
Saboteurs are growing on me. My strategy always involving staggering, as it should. Saboteurs are basically commandos in that department, and combine that with debuffs that make it so that you can get 5 digit damage once you stagger the opponent. Absolutely insane.
EDIT: Oh, full paradigm...
I remember beating him in 5-6 minutes... now what the hell did I do...
Oh, when he's in offensive mode, make sure to have a commando and sentinel at ALL TIMES. Have your third character switch between a medic and ravager. When he's in defensive mode, have a saboteur always at hand, as well as...
