I always have Squall with Ifrit, Zell with Quetzacotl and my third character with Shiva. Bahamut normally goes to my third person and Eden always went to Zell. Squall would often get Diablos and other str based ones like Brothers.
Not many people enjoy the first hour or two of FFVII. I sure as hell didn't. But once firm storyline characters are introduced like rufus and sephiroth, the game will get you hooked. So I think you will like it, and don't be surprised if the first few minutes aren't that interesting because it...
I would never quit an FF due to annoying characters, although there are some that have made the game less enjoyable by getting in tardy situations all the time, such as Rinoa and Yuna. Although, instead I just accepted the fact I'll be playing alongside mongrels and got used to their outstanding...
Now I'm no gh3y, but I always thought Auron and Balthier were proper men as opposed to these sissy impossibly close shave characters like Coud and Tidus. My vote just went for Balthier since he doesn't have an annoying American accent.
I got my brother into it starting with FFVII.
I got my best friend into it starting with FFX.
I got one of my other friends into it starting with FFX.
I got yet another one of my friends into it starting with FFVII.
And I got about 3 or 4 people i met online into it starting with FFIX.
To sum...
He's a mark hunt, twice, both in the lhusu mines. First time is easy but second time is kinda hard if you're underlvled like I was.
And I'm sure he's holding a plain sword at the beginning of both fights that looks like murasame or whatever.
I found Kimahri pretty useful for the storyline gameplay, mighty guard was particularly useful on bosses. But end game wise hes not very useful. When it comes to fighting the battle arena originals, dark aeons and Penance, the obvious party choice is Tidus, Wakka and Yuna. Nonetheless, i did...
I used to beat this guy on a daily basis just because I could, I tried all the different challenges such as squall only and 1 junction per chara and no hero/holy war potions, and loads of other stuff, but bottom line, once you know his attack pattern, its almost impossible to lose, unless Terra...
Your current lvl is indeed fine for where you are, but chaining malboros in golmore always worked well for me. Just make sure you are 32+ before you reach that judge boss in the chapel, whatever his name is. Level doesn't play too much of a vital role anyway in FFXII, equipment and licences do...
12hrs and 38mins says my save data, thats at the point just before you fight the last Jenova boss. I wanted to play through the game again to refresh myself on the storyline before AC was released but I didn't wanna waste my time with the weapons and collecting all the materias again so I just...
Looks great in the trailer. I'm guessing characters from all FF games will appear in it apart from FFXII, as they didn't have fixed weapons like the rest. But even with just the confirmed FF characters I'd be happy, I always wished I could've played FFIX with voices and more realism and now I...
I really enjoyed DoC. It was nice to play an RPG character in a 3rd person shooter perspective, and explore various areas of FF7 in a different view. The storyline wasn't as solid as the original game, but its nice to have some elaboration on Vincent's character. As for the gameplay, while it...
