Michael felt his hits land, one by one, on the invisible being he was fighting. Suddenly, like a curtain being pulled away, a young man appeared before him. The man's face was bloody, Michael's fists had struck home.
Michael allowed himself a moment to heave a sigh, and made ready to jump on...
"Bloody hell!" Michael swore as a blast of fire came out of nothing and turned his pistol glowing hot in a matter of moments. He dropped it immediately but was then punched right in his stomach, and he gasped for air. His left hand was still burning with pain, breathing was nigh impossible, and...
"!!!"
Michael didn’t have much time to be surprised in. His mind was still reeling with Stephen’s sudden resurrection when his body was sent reeling by a sudden hit that slammed the air out of his lungs. Before he could react, his arm was swept upwards and he pulled the trigger out of reflex...
Maybe Trabia would have been able to fly away if only they'd known about it. Not even Cid knew exactly what Balamb would do if this 'protection thing' would be activated. And as Trabia had been hit earlier than Balamb and had had next to no warning, they wouldn't have descended the depths of the...
good. :)
Rene, my character Michael is in one of the Avengers' hq corridors and thought he saw something odd, but is not sure he saw something. You can decide if your character is seen or not. (as you said in your bio that sometimes the lightfall could betray an edge or something) If you don't...
If I wouldn't be there to hold his hand, Squall would lose everything. ;)
That's quite a selfish stance to take, I'd say. ;) I think fighting for other people (I mean for their wellbeing, not fighting at other people's behest) gives you more strength. It sounds corny, but standing up for...
I wouldn't be able to give you a good, detailed explanation to why the Materia system is better. I think stating that it 'is' better somewhat overstates it; it just feels better.
It's not that the Materia system is that perfect (I still can't fit my head around it entirely) but the junction...
For judging this knowledge of the background is more or less mandatory as well I'd assume. I'm sure there are people here who feel they fit the bill. :D
I think it would be great to make the option available to play to different characters, though I myself wouldn't make use of it.
A question, though: who would judge the auditions?
I would like an X-men RP, even though I'm not too knowledgable on the setting. I would prefer one RP as opposed to multiple RP's, as the possibility of playing canon characters should not have to exclude 'home-made' characters in my opinion. And combining the two would make for rather...
The thing with the junction system is that it discourages me from actually casting magic. In other FF's, where you cast magic with AP or mana, you know you can restore your AP, but when I cast a spell in FFVIII, I feel as if I'm losing magic and at the same time I'm undermining my own junctions...
I suppose that fi I'd went through all the trouble of levelling her up and getting her ultimate weapons and limit breaks and all I'd have been pretty pissed. As it was, I didn't really care game-wise. Story-wise, I thought it was a bit out of the blue there, but oh well, it's what villains do. I...
For me, both games are almost equally good, but for different reasons. However, I think that FFVII has just that little bit of extra magic, mainly because I was younger when I first saw it and played it, and have more of those scrambled, rosy-coloured 'childhood-memories' of it. :)
FFVIII is a...
After a moment of hesitation, Michael put down Stephen's body. He didn't like it when they wanted to research bodies of the deceased. Why couldn't they let them rest in piece? "Thanks for the help," he told the man who had been named Electro by the operator in the camera control room but had...
